Arrived very promptly, easy to set up, works really well, weirdly doesn't need batteries somehow . . .. . . BUT . . . . . . when it says "25 musical chimes" it doesn't mean 'melodic'. It means one standard 'Bing Bong' type chime and twenty-four REALLY hectic digitalised classical music ditties. Choosing the chime was a case of "Maybe, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no . . . sod it, I'll just have the first one."

After trying and being disappointed with many competitors' offerings I found this product.This door bell system does exactly what I wanted it to do and I will list the features I have found tom be useful. The first is that having set the system up the mains units remember how they are set up even if they are unplugged or the power fails for some reason. This means you can set up a bell unit at leisure and then move it to where it is needed.The second is the range of the push button switch which is "human powered" and has no battery. I have had a look inside the bell push button unit and the power for the bell signal is generated from a magnet moving inside a coil. All the other units I have tried had a watch battery or a small 12volt cell which does not have enough power available to transmit a strong signal or starts off well and quickly fades. With the good range I have been able to have reliable door bell units in sheds and out houses or wherever I happen to be working.The third is that the bell units are paired with the push button and the pairing is actually very good. There are no phantom rings from interference and the pairing does not disappear after a few weeks as found on other systems. It is possible to pair many bell units with one push button. I have 6 bell units on mine!Yes, the system is a bit more expensive than some of the others but I think you get a quality product that actually works well!

Device delivered today - appeared ok - very pleased with it - 5 hours later, one of the plugged in chimes exploded - I’ve attached a photo. Massive bang and flash and the blue ring inset into the chime device flew across the room. Not at all happy - purchase at your peril - I’ll be asking Amazon how they can sell something like this. Does Amazon check the safety certifications of the items they fulfill?

Very pleased with this door bell, I like the volume control and the fact that there are two bells for different parts of the house. Big choice of tunes but I stuck with ding dong. Well made and easy to set up, the bell push is a good size and sticks on well. There is also the visual LED that comes on when the bell is rung. I would recommend this product to anyone, good fast delivery and a good price.

Well! This was a bit of a surprise. After reading all of the reviews, I was still skeptical that the 'No Battery' remote would work. It does, and all from the energy of the press of the button! Looooong range as well, even though our thick walls.All in all a great doorbell - my only grief with it is that even though there are some 25 'tunes', there is only one traditional bell sound.. I would have liked a few more to choose from, as the only one is a little inconspicuous with a large amount of background noise. But that's just personal preference.- this is a great doorbell!
