These night lights are bright enough at night to be somewhat bothersome in a bedroom. Perfect for areas like entryways and bathrooms. The light turns bright white on power failure. Very useful as an emergency light.A switch allows for on-off-automatic operation.

We needed nightlights and these work great!

The lights are nice, but I wanted them for just the power failure feature for my shop - in other words, these go on when the power goes out. I was hoping that the switch would turn off the night light feature, but such was not the case. When the room gets dark, the blue light goes on, and stays on. This feature may be nice for some, especially with young children rampaging through the house during the night, but be aware that every night can be a Blue Light special in your home with these lights.

Great product! Recommend it to everyone. Wonderful nightlight and great back up in case of a blackout.

wanted to like these because of the calming blue light. Not very calming because it is glaring blue/way too for night time. Not motion activated either, although I didn't buy them for that feature.

We've had a set of these for years and each time we lose power, we find ourselves with well lit rooms. No more risking falls in the darkness after a power failure. The lights are very bright and light up the entire surroundings immediately when the electricity is lost. While discussing recent failures with friends, I was surprised they'd never heard of them. One is a 95 year old active resident in an Independent Living facility and told me she was terrified several weeks ago when they lost power during one of Tucson, AZ's storms. I promptly ordered a set to be sent directly to her which were received the next day and several nights ago at 11:30 pm, we again lost power for 12 hours. She was thrilled and surprised they were still as bright the whole time. Yesterday, I told another friend who'd never heard of these, sent her the link, and she ordered them with a delivery of today or tomorrow. These are a MUST for monsoon season. In the meantime, the night light is a soft blue, plenty of light for normal times and can be switched to motion detectors, lighting up brighter upon entering the room. The affordable pricing makes them a great, usable gift!

I like the fact that it has a photo cell to turn off and on the night light as well activating a bright white light when there is a power failure.

I thought I was getting one bigger light, not 3 small ones - should have returned it

This product is intended for the US market as it is rated at 120 volts, 60 Hz, and has US-style plugs.It should never have been offered for sale in the UK or in Europe as it is unusable anywhere in Europe.Furthermore, if you live in Europe, including the UK, and inadvertently buy this then you will have to return it to an address in the US - which makes returning the item something of a hassle.

I don’t know why they are selling an American plug on Uk Amazon.
