Ultimate Werewolf Extreme

We bought Werewolf Extreme and have loved it! The card artwork is awesome—they feel durable and well made, which matters because this game gets played a lot and handled constantly. It’s super fun with a group of teenagers or the whole family. We’ve played with mixed ages and everyone stays engaged, laughing, and accusing each other the entire time. The game is easy to learn, even for first-time players. The rules are straightforward, and once you play one round, everyone pretty much gets it. That said, the game is WAY more fun if you have someone who loves to narrate. A good moderator who gets into it makes the game even better. Keeping your role hidden, bluffing, and reading other people is half the fun. Highly recommend for game nights if you want lots of laughs, chaos, and "friendly" arguing.

This game is awesome if you love dynamic strategy. Great for a game night with larger groups. Pretty easy to learn but takes a long time to master as there are so many ways to play a role and you have to adapt based on the build of each game.

Love this game, I bought it to play with a group of my friends that are a mix of a few gamers and mostly non gamers. This helps bridge the gap between gamers and non gamers. There are plenty or roles to keep things interesting, it’s easy to learn, and it’s always fun to mix and match, heavily replay able. Definitely recommend for big groups of 8+ people

This is such a fun game for family night. Everyone enjoyed playing, and trying to figure out who the werewolves were kept the game exciting and engaging. It led to lots of laughs and lively discussion. I highly recommend it.

Still waiting to play it, but boy oh boy is it cool!

This is my favorite party game whether drunk or sober. I usually GM this with a crowd of 10-20 people. DO NOT BUY THIS EDITION THOUGH. Look for the Ultimate Werewolf Deluxe Edition. It has more cards than this edition and better Wolves and Villager Cards for less or same price. I accidentally bought this edition and ended up having to buy the BONUS ROLES DLC Pack to make up for the mistake. (Still reccomend the Bonus Roles Box with the Deluxe Edition. If possible) This game is the perfect pick up game people can learn in 3-5 mins from an experienced GM and people will learn to develop team synergy and high IQ plays as the game develops and new roles are introduced. Many memories in the Service as well with this game. Many deployments and months on end playing this with my Sailors out at sea. Voices were lost. Laughs were shared. And many friends were made.

The game itself is great fun, and this is the best version to own in my opinion (as of Spring 2024). That said… it’s incredibly frustrating to know that Bezier has published this game multiple times and yet there are still so many things that could be improved. To start, the instructions are still atrocious. They are not well written for new players to learn the game, and they lack the clarifying details that you’d want and expect to see for the many cards with unique abilities. Then there are design details like the box not being able to close all the way because the tower token is too large to fit in the box. Or the fact that the QR codes on the card backs are far and away the most challenging QR codes I’ve ever tried to scan. Unsure if it’s an issue with the app, but I suspect it’s because the color contrast between the QR and the background is minimal and the cards are very glossy creating a glare that’s hard to escape. The app is the best part of this newest edition. It’s helpful with keeping the nighttime order correct when you have many unique characters in a game. But this app isn’t quite fully baked. The UX could be smoother. The QR scanning mentioned above is very difficult. The photo part should just let you snap a photo instead of forcing you to wait for it to detect a face and take it for you. It takes forever to actually start a game after dealing out the role cards. I will play this game a ton and love every play. But it’s similar to Terraforming Mars where the game is awesome but every time I pull it out, I think about what a shame it is that the production quality is so poor.

It's a pack of cards with a manual. Hard to go wrong, best version of a famous party game for a reasonable price.

If you like mafia or social deduction games I highly recommend the werewolf game series. I personally prefer this edition (extreme) as it introduces some unique elements to the game. That means you can play the game normally with less experienced players or add in some of the additional roles for a different playing experience (and makes the game even more challenging and fun)

Muy buen juego para disfrutar con amigos

I bought this for a family weekend away consisting of 21 people aged from 7-76. It was a huge hit with everyone. The kids were able to understand the rules and follow along and did brilliantly at playing both wolves and villagers. The adults had a great time and got into the characters. My only criticism is the app is pretty useless so I did have to admin the games rather than join in. 10/10 recommend for parties, family get togethers or team building (the latter is going to be my next use).

Arrived brand new! Extatically what I ordered. VERY fun game. Have not tried the app yet.
