You Know You're 40 When... Paperback – March 8, 2005

Having turned 40 a couple years ago, I can attest to it being a different kind of milestone than, say, 37. This book is a funny, witty look at waking up one day and finding that you are no longer 20, try as you may to convince yourself otherwise, and that embracing this reality is not as bad as it might have seemed only a few short years before.

What do you get your son on his 40th birthday? I gave him a few gag gifts, frankly, I was taking his birthday rather hard....my starts & garters! My son is 40!! Believe me, it's an experience. The book is delightful. He liked it. His wife liked it. I ate chocolate cake.

Even though there's a man featured on the cover, the content is more geared toward women turning "40."
