Great product, outrageous price
Ontario's deteriorating healthcare, courtesy of Doug Ford made this purchase necessary. Following surgery, home healthcare (HHC) nurses had no supplies and were "making do" with whatever was available. I was told not to buy this due to cost & HHC would put in a "rush" order to their suppliers. Guess what. Their order didn't arrive, my order did. On a holiday weekend no less. Thanks Amazon.ca

Excellent adhesive bandage.
My wife had spine surgery and I got to change the dressings while she healed. The incision was about six inches long so some large dressings like these were needed. The adhesive around the perimeter sticks to the skin well enough that rubbing from clothing doesn't cause it to lift and peel. It is not so sticky that it hurts when the bandage is removed. In addition to the perimeter adhesive, the center area of the dressing also has a light adhesive. That keeps the dressing from sliding around without sticking so firmly that it pulls the wound open while being removed.Very impressive product. The physician's assistant that did a post-operation check commented on what a good dressing it was.

Waterproof and don't stick to the wound
Having managed to put a large gash in my shin, that couldn't be stitched I was dreading having dressing that stuck to it. These sounded good, and as I knew i had to take a risk and put something over the wound, while expensive I decide these sounded the best option. They were well worth the money. Having started with the 20 x 10cm size, I'm now down to the 5 x 5cm ones. I've taken showers while wearing them and they haven't come off. They normally last about 4 to 5 days before the edges do start to lift, but to be honest that is a good interval to be changing a dressing at (unless there is a lot of erudite then change it more often). They have never stuck to the wound, or hurt to remove. It was a little unnerving the first time, as the pad has glue on it that means it does gently adhere to the skin around the wound, but that just helps support the wound itself and isn't a problem when you remove the dressing.I may use standard plasters on really minor cuts, but I have a feeling that I will be keeping some of the smaller ones in my medical cabinet and using them a lot more often.
