you have to be extremely careful when laying it because its very brittle. Seems to be doing fine under our floor now that it's laid though.

Some of you reading this will just think, that’s obvious. Well, maybe to you it is. It wasn’t to me.I wasn’t aware, until accidentally melting holes through my underlay, that spray adhesives were not suitable for use on this product. It appears to be the solvent in the spray that is the problem. It quite literally melts it. You can watch the bubbles forming as the underlay dissolves.Depending on you job needs, find another suitable alternative, and you’ll be fine.That aside, this is a quick and easy product to deal with. Perhaps a little more compactible than I had anticipated, but still appears to be capable of the job it was purchased for.Just don’t melt it.

We bought this to go below a thick vinyl flooring. Firstly, it was so light that when we were trying to tape it together to fit the room, it kept moving. As we were trying to roll out the vinyl, it meant we had to stand on the underlay. It was just crushing under our feet. Since laying the vinyl, there are dents in it where the underlay has squashed down, so we're going to have to replace the whole flooring again for something better. We've used thermal underlays before and they were much thicker, better quality than this. I wouldn't recommend this.

Good value and quality

I used these under thick linoleum flooring. Give a luxurious feel. Also keeps the room warm.
