Love this product, I think I am hooked! Where have you been all my life ;-)I have the smoothest texture on my teeth, however I think most people are using way to much, I read many reviews stating the "black tongue". My trick so far is I put a small amount in a tiny jar (about the size of a quarter or so), I then dip the "dry" bristles of my electric tooth brush in it daily and tap off once. (Maybe not the best way to dip straight, but I am the only user of it, so the double dipping is all mine, that is why I use a small sectioned off amount) I do not have to waste much making a paste of it, the dry brush only picks up so much and I think the paste way can use too much and create the "black tongue", not to mention I find it much quicker.I brush my teeth in the morning wtih it, and follow up with a bead of regular tooth paste to clear off the residue and give me that clean fresh taste this does lack. I avoid my tongue with the charcoal and now brush it in this step. Really does not take that long at all when you get the routine down.I do not mind the taste of this at all, almost no taste to it, a bit strange at first, but you get very used to the process quickly and the fresh from the dentist clean you get is so well worth it!I think this is a mainstay for me forever. By the way the jar will last a really long time, at least a year or more, you do not need much at all.I did read the review and see the notes from the seller on being careful to open it (big poof of black soot can happen), I did not have an issue at all, take it slow opening the jar and you will be fine.

It doesn't do anything. I used it for 2 weeks and my teeth didn't get any whiter so I just gave it up using it and threw it in the trash!Don't bother buying it....

Works great! It is definitely messy (the powder is very fine) and a little weird at first to put in your mouth. However, after just one use, my teeth looked much whiter, and the whitening has only continued! It doesn't have much of a taste and leaves your mouth feeling fresh. I've had issues with sensitivity when using white strips and this is a great alternative. I had some sensitivity when I first started using it, but have been brushing more lightly and it hasn't bothered me. A little goes a long way, so this will last me a while. I would definitely recommend!

This product is amazing! I researched endlessly looking for a product that is gentle on the enamel. My son is 10 years old and has discolored enamel. I was told by his dentist as well as reading online from others with the same enamel that this was normal. Over time the enamel would wear some causing it to lighten. It always looked as though he never brushed his teeth. Especially after his upper braces where removed. I ordered the natural charcoal w/ lemon and within a few days his teeth are brighter than when when leave the dentist for a cleaning! As for myself I usually brighten my teeth with my bleaching trays. I used this product with him to encourage the use and woah! I didn't think my teeth needed much brightening until noticing the difference along with his. As far as taste - there's isn't one! It's not awkward at to brush with and rinses out easily. We both follow up with a pinch of sensodyne toothpaste and waaaalah! Feels like you just walked out from the dentist office! Would definitely reccommend... actually I already have to a few!

I'd been looking for a charcoal tooth powder that didn't taste like mint or stevia- something PLAIN like the Hindu stuff I used years ago. Problem here is simple though: you're supposed to keep the powder dry, yet it suggests using it in the shower. OK, took that suggestion, and this is why it's terrible: Glass jar with huge mouth opening. How do you keep it dry when your hands are wet? How do you keep from dripping droplets of water INTO it when you need to grab the spoon with WET HANDS? How do you keep from dropping a slippery glass jar when wet?! On my FIRST USE-- in the shower as recommended, the top of the jar was not threading closed right so I was struggling to seal it with wet hands, next thing I know, it slips, falls, and the ENTIRE CONTENTS lands in the wet bottom of my shower. Now, my feet are stained black, and the entire product is GONE in the swoop. You guys really, REALLY need to rethink this delivery system. Years ago I was buying charcoal tooth powder from my local Swami, and THEY had it down: the powder comes out in a SHAKER! You can't spill it all at once or use too much this way. Considering how damn expensive this was and that I'm getting like TWO uses out of it only, I won't buy again UNTIL and UNLESS you find a new container! EVERYONE KNOWS glass doesn't belong in the shower or with wet hands. I feel like I deserve a refund for trying to use EXACTLY as stated on the instructions, only to lose the entire thing. PUT THIS IN A SHAKER!!!! A GLASS JAR with a wide opening STUPID IDEA for a bathroom product that is supposed to remain dry! Otherwise, I really like this simple, plain powder, but come on! I just dropped about $20 to brush my teeth with it ONCE!

I received this product and IMMEDIATELY put it to the test. My results confirmed that 'Tuxedo' delivers the goods! I have used whitening strips in the past, but those chemicals can't be good for your teeth or body . . . plus strips have that annoying adhesive that sticks to your teeth which you have to brush after the whitening process. Who's got time for all that? (Well, I guess that I DID until buying this product. Compare the cost of whitening strips to this product, and it's a bit of a no-brainer. 'Tuxedo' is ultra easy to use and---to note---a little product goes a long way. I gently shake the pot into the palm of my hand and distribute a dime-sized sprinkle. I pass my wet toothbrush over the product, then brush, brush, brush. It's not that complicated and feels great on the teeth. (Bonus: you can take some great Halloween selfies with black teeth! Ha.) My new mantra: rinse, spit and smile with confidence! :-D
