After saying they are usually well built this dino patroller is a huge disappointment. Within 10 minutes of playing the net launcher had jammed and had to be taken apart.The thing is so noisy. And it doesnt stop when it hits an object, its just keeps going and clicking away. It works ok outside but after an hour i pulled the batteries.There is no way to secure the t-rex in the back so it rattles around and falls over.My 4 year old was happy with it but for the price i was really disappointed. After reading reviews im not the only one to have this happen with this vehicle.

At £65, the Dino Rescue Dino Patroller certainly isn't cheap but it's a lot of toy for the money. Unfortunately though, it's a big vehicle that's been made on a budget. Our lad, who is 3 years old, got this on Christmas Day and naturally he loves it. However, come Boxing Day and we were already having issues with the net launcher getting jammed. You have to enter it precisely for it not to jam, which for a 3 year old and his younger sister isn't necessarily something they understand.A few more days passed and a few more times this happened, until it got so stuck that half the spring mechanism came out with the net. Suffice to say this no longer works and the toy was only 4 days old. Other reviews have pointed out that the blue button that makes the Dino Patroller move forward has got stuck and inoperable, which we haven't found, but the vehicle does make a truly horrific sound once it reaches an object it can't get over. It literally sounds as if the motors inside are shredding themselves apart.The Dino Patroller also comes with Chase, who sits in the front cockpit, but he doesn't sit snuggly in the seat which results in the rocking motion of the vehicle making it look like he's in the middle of a 7.6 magnitude earthquake. The T-Rex that comes with it also doesn't stand very well in the back of the truck once it's been 'caught', wobbling violently side to side as the vehicle goes along.We have no confidence that the toy is going to last all that long given that one of its key features has already broke, but given the choice of sending it back for a replacement or for something new, our lad opted to keep it. I certainly wouldn't have been so forgiving, so buy this with the knowledge that it's not very well made and that you may well have to make the same choice very shortly after opening the box.

Very big, very noisy.. Grandson doesn't like the noise but that's more him than the toy. However he only played with for it for 10 mins and the launcher broke. Had to return for money back. Therefore not really value for money. Have read several reviews and this appears to be a common problem. Think the toy company need to look at this and fix the problem before selling.

We bought this for my our sons birthday, he loves it and is very happy with it. Until the weapon launcher on the top broke. After closer look the spring inside has been dislodged. We expected the toy to last longer than a week before something broke! Amazon as usaul are very good with returns and have agreed to send a new one the streaight away. Over all the toy is good, a little loud and makes our son happy so we are happy. I think we just got a bad one.

Got this for my son and he loves it. Good sturdy toy which moves and makes sounds.Comes with a dinosaur figure and Chase the dog figure.

Good solid toy. It's louder than I'd expected. It runs over anything. The T Rex is cute, not scary, but its teeth dig in when the kids repeatedly make it bite you. The launcher missiles travel quite far. Buy this if you are immune to noise, and don't mind having missiles fired at your butt for a week until the novelty wears off. Seriously, buy it, but get ear defenders too.

Overall this seems like a really good toy but for the price it has some flaws. The launcher broke almost immediately, amazing did send a replacement straightaway which was good. There is no ability to push the truck along it moves with the button on top and makes a loud noise. It can't stop when it hits an object and makes a loud cracking noise as the wheels keep spinning with no ability to move.In saying this my two and a half year old still loves it!

The toy looked quite sturdy and the reviews were great but I’ve just given it to my nephew it’s his 4th birthday today and the part that shoots out yellow projectiles broke immediately and he was heart broken. It’s unfortunate that the only options are return on here because he won’t part with it I can’t take his favourite toy off him on his birthday but it is defective and I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone else
