Good First Impression & Addition To Workout
I purchased the REEHUT Ankle Weights Set (2x 5lbs) to replace a 12 year old set of Everlast ankle weights that have started to leak their sand filling. The weights were delivered on time & in good condition. On the box is an email address for customer support if needed ([email protected]). The stitching looked good on the pair I received, but the thread does not appear to be very heavy. Time will tell how they’ll hold up. If the stitching fails, I will be sure to update this review. The hook & loop attachment is generous & strong. These are the largest set of weights in the set & fit my ankles well (see pics). I wear a size US M 9.5. If you have an issue where they are not snug enough or you want more cushion, you could wear a pair wristbands underneath them. I’ve now had the opportunity to wear the ankle weights during 3 separate workouts. One workout I wore them for 2 hours & the other 2 workouts for 1-1/2 hours each. During these workouts I wore them while walking on an inclined treadmill, on my Max Trainer (elliptical/stepper), performing leg/knee raises/lifts/kicks, band & body weight work, strength & weight training w/dumbbells & kettlebells. During all these exercises & movements, the ankle weights were secure & comfortable. Shifting was minimal & I never had to adjust the hook & loop or fit.If you’re going to wear these on a treadmill, I’d recommend starting the treadmill flat (no incline) & much slower than you would normally walk & increase the speed in very small increments. As for wearing the ankle weights while performing sit-ups, if you wedge/brace your feet/ankles behind/under an object/bar & the ankle weights make contact w/them, I would advise against it to avoid unnecessary wear & tear. I would most definitely say not to wear these while riding any bike (indoor, outdoor, spin, recumbent etc), not just for safety on those requiring balance, but for unnecessary damage to the ankle weights as well. Some of the pics I’ve seen of small holes in ankle weights look like this kind of damage to me. The corners & bulging parts of the ankle weights will rub against the bikes crank arms while peddling & wear holes in them quickly. As I use these in the future, I’ll take note of any issues I may experience w/them & update this review.Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

I found these weights fitted my style and met my need. I like the fact you can adjust them to your legs. My ankles are skinny!!!

Adjustable...Technically
They are adjustable, it is true, but the space alotment is rather tight (nice if you don't want them slipping out, though with a Velcro top closing I wasn't that concerned anyways) but they have a distinct twist when you pull them out. So not... Exactly what I was looking for, as they are rather hard to get in and out. Not so hard if you were doIng an entire workout with 3lbs you couldn't put the weights back in after your workout, but switching during...? Good luck.

Meets Expectations
The Reehut ankle weights were purchased after sending back another pair that kept sliding down my ankle. Admittedly 5lb weights are not easy to put on, but the Reehuts are a bit easier. I think the Velcro straps are longer allowing for a better hold. The inside fabric does stay against the skin better and with the better hold the weights are not sliding down..A con: the five weights are completely sewed in, not removable, but that is ok for me as 5lbs was recommended by my physical therapist.
