Dora Bicycle (12-Inch)

ASSEMBLY ReQuIReD!!! I am not incompetent when it comes to putting things together- I own an outdoor landscaping company- but this thing was NOT easy to assemble- it is possible with time and patience- very possible- but if you've never assembled a bike before this will take you a decent amount of time!The packaging was the BEST I've ever seen! Very meticulously packed!!!Quality materials- NOT cheapo stuff that's going to break down anytime soon.

MY daughter loves this bike. We purchased this bike last year and its still in good condition. The chain slipped couple times, but its manageable. She is growing so we will be getting her another bike soon. This bike is great, durable, and very sturdy. Be careful of the tassels coming off and they won't go back on. The seat is adjustable and easy to make high or low, no problems with the pedals yet, but a heavy bike.

The assembly of the bike was difficult because the front tire's "wheel well" was bent and didn't line up with the wheel so I had to use pliers to get it on there. Other than the frame being bent the bike looked great and seemed to work well.

The instructions are for a ten speed bike with gears (!@$#).We had to call the hot line for a lot of the steps (3-4 times?).Customer service was pretty good, they did mention that they were working on better instructions for kids bikes.We got frustrated with the hand brakes so we took the whole hand break system off. (Thank goodness for the pedal brakes)My kid really wanted a Dora bike so it served it's purpose.We are not that experienced with bike assembly, so next bike, we will be going to a store where they put the bike together for you!

This bike is adorable, however even with the seat on the lowest level- my tiny almost 4 year old who is just over 3 feet, cannot easily get on and off on her own. It's great though. Easy to assemble and well worth every penny!

nice little bike

Well built bike and my granddaughter really likes the colors; however, the fact that it has a hand brake for the front wheel is a little frightening especially for a child who is just learning the mechanics of trying to pedal a bike and now has to try to remember how or when to (or not to) use the hand brake. It would have been better to eliminate the hand brake on the front wheel.

Very cute first bike for my daughter. Easy and quick assembly. Works as any bike should.
