The DroidBOX VIP 3-in-1 Air Mouse Wireless Keyboard Remote Control is just awesome. Somehow, so far, despite his best efforts, my 22 month old has NOT managed to break it. This is the very first of the myriad replacement remotes I've ordered for my TS-8 Plus that has survived more than a week.This remote is sturdier than other ones I've used in the past. The remote that comes standard with the box is so flimsy you can actually bend it without much effort. One knock to the tile floor and it split at the seams. Same goes for the wireless keyboard/mouse combo remote, which unfortunately did not just snap back together, but instead exploded into a bunch of little pieces.So, my favorite points of the remote:- The keys on the keyboard are slightly raised, and easy to press, allowing you to type accurately.- Button functions are clearly labeled or easily interpreted.- The cursor option is really easy to use, and the signal from the remote to the box is strong. It works just like a Wii Remote, push the cursor button for point & click mode, click the cursor button again to return it to a normal remote.The only 'problem' I have is that the power button restarts the box instead of turning it off. It's probably something you can fix in a setting somewhere, but it's such a non-issue that I haven't bothered to look it up.

Absolutely horrible product, bought it to have a keyboard to search on a nvidia shield, keyboard does not work, does not send the keys pressed, horribly slow and unusable mouse emulation is terrible, spent 2 hours in multiple apps and nothing worked, netflix, amazon prime, ps vue, did not try voice search, not what I bought it for. backlit keys also did not work at all

I use it with nvidia shield. Seems to work good. One thing I don't care for is, it's easy to hit the ok button when trying to push one of the directional buttons.

Bought this to use with my Fire TV. I already had one with the same functions but this is backlit. Great for watching TV (Netflix, Kodi, Terrarium) at night. Well worth the price.

Great buy. At first they send me a regular droid box remote, when I brought this to their attention they let me keep the remote and sent me the correct one. The backlit keyboard is great for times in a dark room. I am very happy and will buy from them again.

Great product. I love the air mouse, plus the backlit. I'm using with my raspberry pi 3 and it works perfectly. It has everything I needed.

Mouse functions works great. Enables you to use the phone and tablet apps on your TV with ease. Only drawback is there should be more programmable buttons and the instructions should be larger - very dificult to read. Had to print them out from an online version...

Good value great product

I bought this on recommendation from friends as I am no whiz kid with gadgets they said it was easy to set up as it was loaded up ready to go. so I bought one then found out they stopped loading them you have to load your own, a few of my friends tried to load it for me and failed so I have never had the use of it. The friends live in Chester and took it away to load it for me due back in feb 2017 fingers crossed. They swear by them but I will wait and see.

Fantastic value for money. Button/key arrangement takes a little getting used to but I've purchased controllers for twice the money that have been half as useful.This is used with a HTPC and the wireless mouse is used most of the time, and the keyboard's greatest strength and works much, much better than expected!

Build quality is reasonable, and I'm sure the product is wonderful for use with Droid Box. However, I was sold the product on the description that it would work with Kodi on my Raspberry Pi, which it doesn't do very well: many buttons don't work as described, and can't be remapped in the keymap editor. This unfortunately makes the product useless for my needs.

All of these remotes are flawed by design. Over time the bottom buttons press the top board etc. It all begins to mess up I've had a few now of different brands and they are all the same spend a little more and do yourself a favour

Sold as a good remote for XBMC/ kodi, it isn't. The keyboard is mapped differently and most of the buttons on the remote don't do anything. The back button is awkward to use and the list goes on. Sold on to a friend for a different use.
