I've recently been having a deluge of visitors & my poor inherited vintage tablecloths just can't take the pace. So I needed a quick fill in whilst I find a proper linen tablecloth & for my size of table that's £300 to £400+ so no small investment.I was then of course a little skeptical that this could in any way stand in for linen, but I was wrong. Would I personally use it for the most special occasions, no, but for everyday lunches & dinners it's great.For those saying it's thin or slippy on the table, they're correct, but you must use some kind of padded table protector under the cloth to avoid these issues. Also, think about whether dark or light is best in your room, the wrong colour might look cheap. Silver in my dining room has worked perfectly & looks really lovely.I don't know how it washes yet but it steam irons very well on cool plate.To the makers - for classic UK dining tables it's not quite wide enough & could do with at least 5" more in total width.For £25 it's a steal!

No fuss ordering. Swift delivery. Great product for us as a table cloth. It allows the mopping up of spillages as the liquid sits on the surface - our granddaughters were fascinated to find they could lift spilled water from the cloth with a spoon! I am very pleased with this purchase and my daughter in law has now purchased one in beige and is equally delighted!

I was having real trouble finding a good quality tablecloth in grey and then I came across this one! It feels really nice and soft and drapes well (I can't stand plastic wipe-clean tablecloths but wanted something water-resistant). It's the perfect shade of grey to match the room, and overall is good quality. I've not yet had a need to wash it so can't comment on how well it washes.

I like this tablecloth but i though it would be waterproof in the wat that if it gets wet then i can wipe it dry immediately. However it is only water resistant which is different.. Just be aware of that difference. Otherwise it is a very good tablecloth.

Cloth slips all over the place when it is on the table. Just too thin material and not very nice.

Love this black table cloth - amazing value for money. It looks great - like linen so it looks expensive. I have now washed in a delicate was and air dry and it hardly wrinkled. I will definitely buy it again. I don’t know about other colours but if all are like the black i definitely recommend it

We’re yet to test how waterproof it is. It looks fantastic though and would very much recommend on looks alone. The beige is a very neutral colour.

Very good quality piece of material however it’s not easy to clean when u get crumbs etc on as it’s like a throw over. It washes well though. Because of it being a throw it’s slippy when it’s on the table too
