It's already halfway to your 50 pound airline limit before you put anything in it, so it's pretty much guaranteed to be over 50 pounds with a video camera system in there. And the pluck foam that comes with it is worthless. It will be chewed up and dead in no time. But the case itself is totally indestructible.
