RubiesRubie's Adult Beehive Wig

Had fun with this wig. I was looking for something extreme. This fit the bill. Stuffed the beehive with light tissue paper to fill it out. Also used thinning shears on the sides by the ears. And trimmed the length in the back.

Decent quality, can actually stay up on its own. I tried dying it but it wouldn’t stick since its synthetic. If you want to change the color make sure to get the spray!

So I might have been watching Star Trek with some whiskey when I bought this. Oops! You get what you pay for. The main issue is, unless you’re a cone head, you’re going to have to stuff it with something to keep it upright. Seems like an easy thing to fix in the design.It’s also pretty messy, particularly in the bangs. Would be difficult to restyle. Still, will make an okay Halloween costume piece.

I bought this wig for a performance. I was a little nervous because the netting around the base of the wig felt too tight to pull onto my head. I remedied this by putting my real hair in a very high ponytail that fits inside the base then it fit well! You'll have to use plenty of bobby pins to keep it in place and be mindful that because it is so tall, it's heavier than other wigs and serious dancing can make it wobble or throw off your balance. But, I danced my booty off in a performance and it stayed on my head in perfect shape.

I bought this wig as a last minute option for a costume party because it was cheap and I thought it would work well. When I got it, the wig was very very cheap looking (which I suppose is why it's only $10) which I sort of expected. But what I didn't plan on is that the wig doesn't fit adult-sized heads. Either you need to be an adult alien with a weird shaped small head, or this is really supposed to fit a kid's head. Sadly, I couldn't keep it since it was useless and I gave it away to one of my friends who has a kid who might enjoy it for dress up.

Nothing like the picture. Took too long to arrive, it was needed for a show and it arrived after the show. I suppose you get what you pay for, but for heavens sake don’t provide a picture that is nothing like the rubbish they send out

Got to brush it out and maybe mousse it or wash the honey yellow to something more natural but. Cute it is a beehive.

Not the best wig in the world but did the job for the night and I got a few laughs from it. Unpack early and brush to settle the wig first

Didn't resemble the picture, looked more like a soldiers bear skin than a beehive - took a lot of work to get it looking right. Probably ok for panto.
