Yes, made for USA with plugs that fit our outlets.

Q: Does it come with a beater-brush or is it similar to a shop-vac? I have medium-pile carpet and need it to beat out and suck up the ground in dirt.

No. It does not come with a "beater" brush. You can purchase one to use with it, however. Contact GO Vacuum or go to their website for specifics on the Vacuflow HP8705 TurboCatEx Zoom. The Henry and Hetty vacuums are MUCH better than a shop vac because they have a great hepa filter and easy to load/remove heavy-duty filtration bags. It'll suck the hair right off of your cat on the high setting, yet are the quietest vacuums I have ever owned. The low setting is fairly gentle on drapes and lamp shades. Everybody loves our Hetty and Henry vacuum cleaners--even the ladies we just hired to come and professionally deep clean our 160 year old house.

Q: I need to get a new head for the hose for this vacumn as mine has broken. Where online can I order one?

Q: Does this come with any vacuum bags?

Yes. It comes with some vacuum bags, but I can't remember how many. Always good to order them when you purchase the machine.
