I have such a hard time finding little kids toys for my developmentally delayed 5 year old. He's pretty tall but still uses smaller kids stuff. This easel is PERFECT. I do have it on it's highest setting, but there's still room for him to grow!

As soon as this arrived, I immediately took it out of the box and assembled it on my own. It took me about 15 minutes, and only required an allen wrench (included in the box). This easel board is supposed to swing around, meaning spin and rotate in a circle to allow for both sides to be used while only staying on one side of the easel. I was not able to get this feature to work, but it is okay, because my 4 year old enjoys going from side to side to play with this. I prefer it to keep her moving, and burn off that extra energy.The magnets arrived on a sheet, and each had to be popped out and then placed on the surface of the easel. Both sides of the board are magnetic. It is important to note to pop the magnets out carefully because while they are sturdy and vibrant, they can easily rip on the top, away from the magnet. I accidentally pulled the K too hard, but was able to repair it with a little bit of super glue, and now it is as good as new.The set also includes paint cups, but no brushes and no means to paint on this thing, but the cups work well to hold the chalk that is included. I do not love the chalk, or the chalk holder, as kids tend to press hard when using chalk holders, and then the chalk falls into it and they are asking to have the chalk pulled out of the holder, over and over again. Therefore, we stopped using the holder, and now she just uses the chalk with her hands. The set does not include whiteboard markers, so you will have to supply them separately.The chalk is vibrant and bright on the chalkboard, but it cannot be erased with the included eraser (this is for the whiteboard side only) and the only way to get the chalk off the board is with a wet paper towel.We have had this easel for about a month now, and it is still a favorite. When we first got it, my little would play with it for 30 minutes at a time, leave it, and then come back to it.This is a fun, and educational toy, and would make a great gift. I highly recommend it!

All kids need a chalk board, with stainless steel appliances they need a magnet board too.This is chalk and dry erase-both sides are magnetic and it can flip into a table!It is very sturdy, the kids have stood on it, they are kids! The paint cups at the bottom have been handy for clean up of magnets.Assembly was super easy, 4 screws and 4 knobs and it is good to go! Toughest part is removing the clear wrap from both the chalk and dry erase boards.Set includes chalk-be sure to “prime” the chalk board, use a stick of chalk on its side and color in the entire chalk board, erase it (eraser included) and then your board is ready for your little artists. We never use water to clean either chalk or dry erase boards. We bought static cling decorations to create stories on the dry erase side.Set also include magnetic numbers and letters-they were essentially thin cardboard on magnetic sheets that you need to pop out-they are pretty good magnets but, not very sturdy. We invested in a $5 plastic number and letters magnet set. Hope this is helpful!

We have been looking for a kids easel for a while and most of it we have to pass due to cheap quality. We love this one. Easy to assemble, high quality, sturdy and will last a long time. It only requires 4 screws to make the base and the other 4 to secure the board. i was able to do it myself in no time despite having a surgery today. The plastic covering the board is a bit tough to remove though, took me longer time to remove that than to assemble the whole thing. I love that both sides are magnetic (see photos). The height is adjustable. My son is 2 and it fits him perfectly, he will use it for a long time because of the quality of materials. It comes 1 eraser, dustless chalks and chalk holder, animal magnets, shape magnets and number and alphabets. It has 3 cups and 3 cup holder for paint. The reason why I’m giving it 4 stars only is because it doesn’t have a paperholder like the one from ikea or melissa and dough although my father in law said it’s an easy fix. For it’s pricepoint, I’m expecting it to have everything, meaning the paperholder. Also wish there is a paintbrush included with the cups, the one in the photo I bought from craft store. We really love this and will use it but we wish there is a paperholder.

Is pretty but small.

This easel is no joke. It’s really heavy and stable. Seems super durable. We have it in our playroom for the grandkids to use when they are here. My granddaughter loves it for playing school. Dual sided. One for chalk and one is a whiteboard. The turning mechanism isn’t so smooth and is difficult - but it doesn’t bother me as both kids can play at once on each side so I prefer not turning it. It’s quite legs and comes with goodies.Erasers for both chalk and whiteboard. Markers for whiteboard, magnets (abc) paint cups (no paint).It’s really cute and fun for the kids. Keeps them busy for a while.Assembly was fairly easy but it’s a lot of stuff. I love this cause the kids can grow with it and it should be relevant for years really.Great investment.

This wooden easel is actually much smaller than it is depicted in the photo. Either that or the boy is really, really short. If the boy were 3 years old and average height, then the proportions were about right, but looks to me the boy is much older and taller. Very misleading, don't you think?Other than that the easel works as expected. It's an easel, not a sophisticated high tech gadget.

This was really quick to put together which was nice since my child couldn't wait to play with it. It is a good size for my four year old and feels very sturdy. The ad shows paint but it doesn't really come with paint supplies. The chalk holder was quickly discarded and we ended up using the big outside chalk we have. The magnets come in a sheet and care should be taken when popping them out.
