My new best friend! We have two cats and two dogs, all come in and out all day. I can clean up the entire upper floor and the stairs in about 20 minutes, and not have the battery dead yet. That's kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom hall, two bedrooms, and 12 steps and a landing. It will clean door mats and low pile rugs with ease.I do not use it on my large area rugs, I use the big vacuum for that...just more efficient. I do use it on the dogs beds. I also use it on the bathmats (dry), I can reduce the suction with a button on the handle, and that make it perfect for me to clean the hair off the mats without sucking up the mat itself. It has an easy to empty dust cup, filter is also easy to clean. BEST thing included is a simple little gizmo, similar to a letter opener, that slices the long hairs or threads off the roller bar. Love it! AND the roller bar comes out, easily!!This vacuum has LED lights on the front...best thing ever to light up a dusty floor...I can see every pet hair and dust bunny. I've only had lights on my expensive machines. I think this was inexpensive, but very well built. I was afraid it would be thin and cheaply made.I had never heard of this brand before, but I am SO glad I took the chance. The designer is obviously someone who vacuums, maybe used difficult machines, and engineered this with pure simple genius. The Eufy vacuum is so convenient, easy to maneuver, lightweight, and fits under much of my furniture. I am middle-aged, and this is my favorite of all the machines I've used. Believe me, there have been a few I wanted to throw in the driveway and run over repeatedly.I haven't had it long, so now we'll have to see how it holds up. I will update if it does not last.UPDATE: I have taken away three stars. Like others I have read about in these reviews, my Eufy had serious issues with the roller bar, where it meets the round gizmo that holds it in and makes it spin. It smelled like burning, and the entire tip was melted. Yes, I had been cleaning it. I contacted Eufy about buying a replacement part, and their response was AMAZING. They sent me an entirely new machine. I sent the old one back in that box. CUSTOMER SERVICE was stellar. New machine has been working great, but seems to have the same issue with hair building up where the roller bar meets the part that drives it. I love the vacuum so much, I am cleaning that area nearly every time I use it. I have begun to smell a burning smell again. :( I have washed and changed filters repeatedly. The problem is, I am now cleaning the machine way too frequently to justify it's use. I would be thrilled if the manufacture would improve that connection, and I no longer had to baby the vacuum. I would happily pay more for the improvement, to have a sturdy roller bar drive.UPDATE February 2018 Eufy saw this review and contacted me, offered me a new machine, new model, white, or, I could have a refund. I love this vacuum, so I jumped at the offer for the new model. I have received it, and it has been redesigned at the trouble spot, the end of the roller bar at the connection IS different. I am raising this review to 4 stars, and if the vacuum holds up, I will come back and make it five. The customer service team is stellar, more than you could hope for. If political teams behaved as this customer service team does, well, what a wonderful world...UPDATE June 2018 PERFECT. I would buy the WHITE ONE again in a minute. Improvements work great!

I wish I could give this more stars. I previously owned a Shark Navigator stick vacuum and I mostly loved it. But it died and needed replaced. After some research I found this vacuum I never heard of. It had good reviews so I took a chance. I also currently own a Dyson Cannister Vacuum which I love.When I first opened the box I was disappointed at how tiny it appeared. But remember what they say 1. Great things come in small packages, and 2. Don’t let the size fool you. I immediately put my new eufy through the most vigorous tests challenging it to pick up what even my most expensive vacuums have never been able to pick up. Cat kibble and kitty litter. It ate through them like they were dust. Even the pieces up against the wall and in corners. I was sold!!!This vacuum is everything it is touted to be and more. Lightweight, very powerful, maneuvers like a dream, easy to assemble and operate, not very loud, trash bin is easy to empty, charges quickly, charge lasts long enough for me to do most of our 2400 sf house, great on pet hair, small flat head gets under almost anything. I don’t hang mine on the wall as it is more convenient not to for my situation. But Iooks easy enough.If you do not like this vacuum you are either using it wrong, have a house so messy you should be using an industrial vacuum, or you are a grouch and nothing makes you happy. I would highly recommend it (in case you weren’t sure).Update…Dec 2021. My daughter moved in with us temporarily and owns a dog that sheds the worst. My euphi was a lifesaver as I had to vacuum every day. Also, 2 years ago a contractor used my vacuum to clean a bunch of drywall and other construction debri. I was mortified. After that it was not as quiet and the small clip on the bottom broke. Fixed it with duct tape and learned to live with the noise. That little vacuum is still chugging away. I gave it to my daughter last month when her vacuum broke. I now have a new euphy. I am sold for life.

I really liked this vacuum after I first started using it. It was great having the cordless, battery-powered functionality. I also thought it was incredibly easy to empty the waste compartment, it was easy to maneuver since it was so lightweight, and it seemed to work great on my hardwood floors and rugs. However, after about 3 weeks of use, it pretty much stopped working. Hairs would get tangled in the spindle. At first it was easy to remove these with the tool that was provided with the vacuum (a small safety razor tool for easily slicing through the wound-up hairs). However, the hairs became tangled in a gear on the left side of the vacuum. You can remove the spindle for easier cleaning and fixing problems like this, but I noticed that the hairs would get embedded in this gear on the left side of the spindle. As it turns out, this gear was responsible for making the spindle actually spin. The hairs that became embedded in this gear eventually caused the spindle to stop spinning completely. I wasn't able to remove these embedded hairs because the gear is surrounded by a casing that makes it impossible to access the lower parts of the gear. This casing is very tight around the gear, so you can't really get into the gear. I'm very disappointed something so simple could lead to this vacuum not functioning. I would suggest finding a different vacuum that doesn't have this issue. I thought I did enough research before purchasing this item, but apparently I was wrong.UPDATE:After posting this review, Eufy got in touch with me immediately and promptly replaced my broken vacuum with a new version that had an improved brush head. I am enjoying using it, as it is really convenient to not worry about the cord and the suction power seems to be perfect for my apartment (which is hardwood and a combination of rugs). I would recommend this vacuum, especially because of the great customer service and support that comes bundled with it.
