So far, so good.I had a cartridge filter that fully submerged the cartridge and changing it was a messy affair and they seemed to clog really fast and you couldn't clean them at all, You just binned the cartridge.However, this filter is easier to clean and maintain and even mod. Search Pimp My Filter on YouTube for a good example. Within 48hrs my tank went from murky to pretty clear. I did purposely get an oversized filter to help keep the tank clean and reduce how often I'd need to clean it.There are two downsides to the product which could do with improvements.1. The included bracket is too short. I tried the suction cups but they struggled to keep the filter in place and I didn't want to start scrubbing the glass to try and get it perfectly clean. I've instead opted to use the hanging bracket. But the bracket is too short. The filter sits about 2cm above the edge of the tank which results in being unable to put the lid on. I recreated the bracket and 3D printed it longer to get the filter just below the edge of the tank.2. The manual advises you keep a drip loop in the power cable. This is a great bit of advice. However the cable is too short for this. The top of my tank is 116cm above the floor, this isn't really high at all but the power cable stops about 15cm away from the floor and only just reaches the socket resulting in no slack for a drip loop.another 30cm on the cable would be ideal.With those two downsides changed I'd say the product is pretty much perfect.I've knocked a star off mostly for #2 purely because in most UK households sockets are fairly close to the floor and most tank stands will sit the tank up to 60cm off the floor resulting in a short cable.The images attached show the tank the day I installed the filter and it sitting proud of the top of the tank as well as after the custom 3D printed bracket which is 70mm long.

I am impressed with this filter and is a good addition to my set up.If you would like a filter that hangs onto the tank but you cannot have a filter like that because you have to have a lid on the tank or you haven't got space for an out of tank filter then this filter is a good compromise.The filter comes with 3 stages of filtration and I must admit I find them fiddly to get into the filter but once set up it seems to work well. I will be changing the media eventually as there is plenty of room in the body of the filter to customise it in whatever way you want to with the only limitation being the weight as the filter is held on with suction cups however these suction cups have a strong hold and as yet I have not had the filter move at all.You can have the filter located as high or low to the water level that suits your set up and the higher it is the more air it will create due the waterfall style return.The maintainance of the filter is easy to carry out and takes only a matter of minutes which is due to the cartridges that the media comes in.Although I have felt the filter is a little fiddly to set up it could be because I have mobility issues with my hands, I do feel this filter is a great addition to my set up and have already recommended it my son, it has a good flow and has stayed where I put it, it is easy to clean and you have the option to customise.

The media could not be loaded.  Bit expensive,, good job.

I am very pleased with this filter. My water is now crystal clear. I’ve had several other different filters before this and this is the the best. My tank is a 29 gallon and I have sand as substrate. Other filters had much too strong flow that blasted my fish away, caused them injuries and caused sand storms which was all terrible for my fish. But this filter, the flow comes out with a peaceful waterfall type flow. I’ve had this for 2 days and my waiter is crystal clear. I might add I also run a sponge filter along with this so I didn’t need to worry about waiting for the beneficial bacteria to grow because I already had it on my sponge filter. I can finally relax about my 29 gallon tank. The water is nice and clear and my fish are acting as they should. Brilliant. Would defo recommend

Very good value for money and the perfect size! The only thing is is that it is fairly loud but it really does the job well!

Excellent performance. Clear water quality improvement within a month few hours. Very impressive. Noisier than expected but OK.

This filter is without a doubt the best one I’ve bought, it’s simple to use the filters are brilliant, and the instructions are easy to follow, i will certainly buy products from them in the future.

Have to be careful or it can fall off apart, not easy to use and not good flow of water
