PowerBear Note Edge Battery Case 4000mAh is actually okay. It's not designed to allow access to or normal functionality of the S Pen so that's why I'd rate it at 3 to 4 stars so far. As others have already mentioned the supplied crowns for the S Pen hold it to the edge of the battery pack so it can be extracted but also holds it about 1/4" out of the phone's S Pen port which affects how the phone detects the S Pen. I ended up modifying an S Pen to extend it's length and I attached the supplied crown so with some extensive effort it works to my satisfaction. The battery pack seems pretty good and I've only used it for the first day today so time will tell how it holds up with normal use over the course of a day. I've been using the Zero Lemon 9,000mHa battery and it has been fantastic. It's just that I thought I should start getting concerned about all the wear/tear on the phone's USB port and am hopeful that a $35 PowerBear battery pack which remains connected to the phone's USB port and provides it's own port to take on the wear and tear may help extend the good condition of the phone itself.

IT works as advertised. I'm not thrilled about the Spen attachments to fit the case. I tapped it on the desk, with the given spen stubs, and it began to slide out.I'm not expecting the Spen to stay on this outer case, in real life. The fit and finish is great. The big canyon for the camera is going to be buyer preference. I have gotten used to it. This product works as advertise and does what it say it does. It does double maybe triple the weight of the phone but thats realistic!

After a LONG wait I finnaly got my case. This case is built very well and a quality piece. The case covers the top and bottom of the phone nicely. The plastic snugs over the metal framing really well.Now the plastic S-pen attachment doesnt hold very well. I solved that by adding a piece of 1/4" x .5 inch piece of black electrical tape. Simply place the tape over the end on the flatter side. This will keep the end piece from ever coming off. You can now enjoy using your s-pen if you choose too.As previously noted the S-pen recognition notification wont work. You can disable it under setting...but your pen will still work.Overall very happy with the case...now i just have to buy a kickstand.

So I've had this for a few days now, and it works great. It doesn't take all that long to charge, and it gives more than double my normal battery life. The only real issue with it that I see is that it makes the S-pen unusable. They supply you with a little plastic cap to put over the end of the pen so you can get it in and out while the case is on, but even though the pen sits flush with the case, it is still sticking at least 1/4 inch out of the phone, which starts to cause detection problems, and if you don't use the little cap, you can't get the pen out at all. It doesn't really matter to me since I don't really use the pen anyways, but it might be a minor problem for others. As far as the rest of it, this case is amazing.

As I'm always traveling or running around NYC trying to get errands done, this product is very useful for when I can't find a wall plug. It last for hours and by the time I get home, I have a full recharged battery. I absolutely love this !

Stopped working after one month will no longer charge very dissatisfied. I loved this case until then. Never dropped it or mistreated this item. It's still in mint condition. Just stopped working.

Shorted my phone out

This case broke my phone. Ever since putting it on my phone, the screen now begins to shake and looks as if the screen was being disrupted by a vibration but it's not vibrating. I wouldn't recommend. Bad experience. Too bad because it really looked like it would keep my phone safe and charged.
