If used as directed, works great
I read mixed reviews on this product as you are now doing and I was skeptical because the bad reviews were what I would expect to happen based on my experience trying to remove dried wax off plastic. Now I am sure if the wax is left to bake onto the plastic for 3 years, you cant expect it to work. I live in Florida so the sun is not your friend. I tried this out on a few lower trim pieces on my car that had wax baking on it for about 3-5 weeks in July. I followed directions and it came off. There were one or two areas that I remember needed a 2nd application but it came off with relatively little effort. The key to success is to realize that you are removing wax....you need to remove the wax-contaminated product from the plastic in its entirety or you will just be moving the wax around the bumper to a new home. Apply the product and scrub. Wipe the stuff off and follow it with another application and the wipe of a new section of towel. If it is still sticky, hit it again and again until the wax if off. It isn't Houdini, if you apply and scrub but don't wipe the product/wax off, Houdini isn't going to touch it with a magic wand and make the wax disappear; its just going to stay on the car. The product lifts the wax off the surface and it is your job to take the wax away.

This product works
This product does NOT come with the little toothbrush that is pictured. That being said, I found that I preferred using a cloth instead of an old toothbrush. I had to go over some of the areas of my plastic trim a few times to get everything off, but this may be more due to the fact that I haven't had this product every time I had waxed my car in the past rather than the product not working well, because it really does get the wax off. I like to use it, let it dry, and then go over any spots that need more attention. Now that cars have more plastic than ever, this product will be a staple in my car cleaning kit!

Removing dried wax from RV vinyl decals
After waxing my RV travel trailer, the black vinyl decals showed the wax circles and couldn't be wiped off. I tried different products but nothing worked so I thought I'd give this product a try. Alone, this product didn't work. Then I sprayed a little on a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and the two together worked like a charm. If you try this, spray a little on the eraser, rub in circles and immediately wipe off the residue with a dry terry cloth rag.

It works!
Made the mistake of getting wax on my black plastic trim. I used a toothbrush and this stuff took the wax right off after some scrubbing and wiping.

Not returnable, and you have to buy another product to complete the job.
This product uses unidentified chemacles, that require use to gloves and an eye shield. They tell you in the instructions that you have to buy another product of theirs to finish the job.

Good product. Smells Amazing. Needs more than one application
The product removed the wax from bumper as advertised. This took a couple applications to be gone completely. Which doesn’t bother me. The final look was a very very very dull bumper on my black vehicle. The strength of the product certainly strips everything off the bumper and leaves you really needing to purchase enhancing product to regain shine. Which they sell for even more money! Bottom line.. it removes that wax. Want the bumper shiny. Get the expensive kit they sell. I love the odor of this product by the way! Smells like car wash bubble gum! My favorite detail odor!

It didn't work very good
I was disappointed at it's lack of removing wax after hard rubbing. I wouldn't recommend it.

Just the ticket! Works great!
I waxed my car about 1-1/2 years ago and I got wax on my black plastic trim, spoiling an otherwise great look. I tried to get it off then, but was unsuccessful (sigh...), so I figured had to live with it. The wax-job eventually wore off the car/paint, but the unsightly white chalkiness remained (ugh!).So I waxed the car again about a month ago, and (again!) I screwed up, making things worse (even more wax on the black trim). So I went hunting for a solution, finding several home-remedies on the internet that were alleged to work, although most were clear: if the wax was old/hard (as mine was), you would have to scrub for a very long time — This was correct, and even then I was unable to get it all off. Then I found McKee’s on Amazon and decided I had little to lose.Let me make it clear: This stuff worked like a charm, even on the old wax. A little scrubbing and voila!: My black plastic is back, good as new. This stuff works great!

Really works!
Though a tad expensive, I had tried all kinds of other methods to remove wax from plastic exterior trim on my car. I even tried the YouTube suggestions, like using a pencil eraser! In about 20 minutes, this product removed all the wax from the trim and the car looks fantastic, thanks!
