ACOPOWERMono Solar Panel for 12 Volt Battery Charging, Off Grid, 30W

I ordered 2, 200 watt panels, put one up, to replace a 25 year old 80 watt panel. Wow, what a difference. Opened up the second box, installed the second panel, looked at the installation, and the panel was broken. It worked fine, but it will never make it thru the winter. The box looked fine, but on inspection of the panel, it had been dropped on the lower left corner, and that broke the cover glass over the entire panel. It must have been dropped during shipping, but the outside of the box looked fine.

Springtime Southern California Sun at Noon and I was pulling 187watts into my Eco Delta Max Pro. Not bad!

Here are my first impressions:- We got two panels- 1 panel is 5BB like the listing shows- 1 panel is 9BB and slightly larger- 1 panel has a dinged cornerSo far, not horrible but just odd. Will update once wired up.

Came packaged well, no damage and puts out exactly what I expected in good sun (80 watts). For the cost at this time I do not think you have many options. With most panels you can always wish for things on more expensive units, like black frame or longer power cables, included mounting hardware etc. but at this price the cost it is pretty much spot on.I expect around 20% lost in most panels and this one is around that 20% mark for the most part but I have observed losses as little as 15% on average when in optimal light (about 80 - 85 watts delivered in perfect sun conditions) which exceeds my expectations.

Four, 200-Watt panels arrived packaged well. I tested the panels in FLAT mounting and ANGLED mounting configurations to see what I could expect from them. Flat Mounted: I managed to get just over 125-watts of power from each unit which is roughly the same I should expect from a less than perfect mounting angle. (Taking into account a 22% loss for flat mounting and the additional percentage of power I lose from the latitude my residence is located at. (Northern California). The panels were tested at a prescribed angle for my latitude (for direct sunlight) and produced close to 175-watts. These appear to be as good as more expensive, name-brand, 200-watt panels I also own. These are nice quality panels at a good price point. I am happy with the purchase. Would purchase again if they become available in the future.

Left phone messages with customer service twice, and did not received response.Finally used contact the seller through Amazon and received immediate support.Panel sent is 39.6" long, which did not align with former order of same product 40.1" long). Acopower sent me another shorter panel so both would match. These panels will be bolted together atop a short cargo trailer, and in plain sight.

I bought 16 of these and run them in groups of 4 into an MPPT charger. I get nearly 70 volts in late afternoon...85 at noon in the Houston Summer. I got around 65 volts inside with an 110W LED (1100W incandescent equivalent) plant light about 5 feet away.

Working great, will report back next season on its condition after leaving it outdoor.Was able to get 1.2A of charge current into a 18650 at Vmpp 17.5V at the input.When shaded, it dropped to 100-120mA, still very usable.

Real glass panel with aluminum frame. Works well with the charge controller. QC is above par. This panel does not come with the mounting kit.

My order came very fast and we installed it on our sailboat to charge the battery. Amazingly it was easy to install and it started to charge right away.
