Cooking Gas Torch, Multiple Function Flame Gun AD-9005

Works as expected on the big gas canisters. Push down and turn to the right to tighten and then ignite! I use this to melt cheese on a dish or start a pellet tube for smoking meats. Works very very well. The only downside is that if you want to turn it off, you have to turn the dial all the way left but there's no "click" to let you know it's fully closed. Makes me a little uneasy since it can very easily turn back on and let gas escape. To turn it off, I turn the dial all the way left and then undock it from the canister.

this is not the greatest kitchen torch you will ever use, it sputters a bit and the lowest setting is more of a medium, but the price is really fair and its a great purchase for the money. it is also really easy to get on/off the canister and adjust the settings. overall I am happy with this purchase.

Cheap Chinese knockoff. whole thing is made of plastic except the nozzle. somebody said its high impact plastic. don't think so. Ever used a benzomatic all aluminum frame torch? you ain't gonna get that quality. Unfortunately benzomatic has no butane torch by the way. The biggest drawback of this is, it does not work as mentioned in the listing. It says it works when pointed downwards or inverted. NO! this thing spits out fire like a flame thrower when inverted and the flame will not retain its shape. and hence dangerous to use for kitchen purpose. I don't know where these amazon 5 star reviews came from. this is worth a max of $7 or even less.

The Firebird Torch but one was broken. The customer service sent a replacement right away with no problems. The Firebird Torch was okay hence the three stars. The butane attachment was iffy at best. The unit was inexpensive so I got what I paid for.The customer service was five stars so I would purchase other merchandise from them.Honolulu.

It works as expected. I just handle it with extra care at the time of mount it on to the can (because other reviews says they break) but its a matter of just not forcing it.And never operated against the wind. Not even a tiny drift of air

I use my touch for everything from browning chicken, beef and even the top of a fried egg. Works well but it does take a little more than a “gentle” turn to lock it in place.

This is the third torch bought for kitchen use and is the best! Simple to use, has a great flame and works in different angles not loosing the flame. I recommend it to any kitchen user. The only recommendation is that they should document the type of Butane canister becuase not all connect effectively.
