This line is very strong for kite line. The wind was strong and the regular kit line we were using at first kept breaking, we switched to the Kevlar line and did not have any breaks the rest of the day.

I used a length of this Kevlar (aramid) rope to replace the pull-cord of a back-up generator. The original cotton line failed within 5 years of ownership, despite being stored in a cool, dry environment. Never wanting to screw around in a winter storm, trying to get power and lights back to the house, I thought it best to go to something with a higher strength-to-weight/diameter than steel.I am sure that this new pull-cord will outlast the generator.I have also fashioned a "tether" rope for my antique 1.2 H.P. outboard motor - the abrasion and heat resistant properties of the rope will make it a great addition. Kevlar ropes like this can also double as a fire-starter (using as a fire-bow, or friction starter) in a survival situation. Bonus!

Ich dachte, dass ich eine Spule mit Schnur, wie auf dem Foto bekomme, stattdessen habe ich eine Minispule mit einer Kleinmenge Schnur erhalten: Die 100 ft aus der Beschreibung war sehr kurz: Bei Lieferung war 31 m vermerkt. Zu wenig Schnur für 22,15 Euro. Rücksendung.
