The Best LED Lighting for Videographers and Photographers available for the price.
Neewer is an awesome company and makes very affordable LED video lights which I have used so many times. Has very easy light control on back of light that you may adjust the color temperature and brightness. I have 2 of these and are very professional Lights for both Photography and Video. They also do not get warm and are very bright. Great Lighting for Studio or Location. I definitely recommend them.

Get Batteries!!!
This is an AMAZING light, I've used it on every shoot since I bought it, it's so versatile and powerful it's hard NOT to. I will likely order two or three more, the thing just practically guarantees perfect results. Note, you should be sure to remove the plastic stick-cover from the plexiglass panel, but that's about it in terms of preparation. I already owned a whole host of stands, so I didn't have to order any extra, but you should be aware that this doesn't come with one. I have to say, the warm light really brings out the green tone of a green screen and gives a distinctly summery look when shooting outside, and the pure white light is very clinical and cold. I almost always crank them both up to max, though, the effect is a daylight-balanced natural tone of light that really does look like natural sunlight or really natural incidental/environmental light in any scenario/location. Whatever you intend to use it for, though, GET BATTERIES, then after you get batteries GET MORE. I recommend these: DSTE 2x Replacement Li-ion NP-F970 Battery for Sony DCM-M1 MVC-CD1000 HDR-FX1 DCR-VX2100E DSR-PD190P NEX-FS700RH HXR-NX3 Camera as NP-F930 NP-F950 NP-F960 I bought a single set of two and it's been just barely enough on all the shoots I've been working on, BUT the lighting on those shoots has always been such that the light could be turned off between shots. If you have an especially long all-day shoot or if you are lighting a live event/broadcast of some sort, OR if you just hate charging your batteries all night every night, I recommend getting many more batteries. This beast of a light is a godsend, but it drains the life out of batteries faster than 8AM classes drain college seniors. I ALSO recommend getting a dual charger for your batteries; the light has two slots for batteries and putting two in at once means not having to switch in the middle of a shot, but it also means you better have both charged. So, gra one of these bad boys: NP-F970 Dual Charger for Sony NP-F550 NP-F570 NP-F750 NP-F770 NP-F930 NP-F950 NP-F960 NP-FM55H NP-FM500H NP-QM71 NP-QM91 NP-QM71D Panasonic VBD JVC V607 Camera with Digital Display Ultimately, I think I'll end up getting two more of these lights, two more chargers, and maybe four or five more sets of batteries. All that stuff together will fit in a large backpack or a suitcase, so it'll be an excellent portable continuous lighting kit that doesn't require any outlets, something every filmmaker and most photographers should avail themselves of. I've attached a couple images for which I used this light panel, just to illustrate what I used it for.

All The Light You Need
I'm a photographer by trade and am used to using strobes. I was looking for a light to use for instructional video's on line. I had three lights before this one. Two were just not powerful enough and the other produced great light but it was just way too big for the area I have to work in. I decided on a panel light but with all the choices I just didn't know which one or how many I would need. I chose the Neewer Professional Metal Bi-Color because the reviews looked pretty good. I bought one to start and decided I would add another if needed. The foot print was small enough I didn't think I would have any problems using two in my small work space. I mounted it on my desk turned it on an WOW! This thing is bright! One is more than enough to light my whole desk area and then some! It took a little time to get the temperature right, a digital readout telling the temp would be helpful but once I got it close I set a custom white balance on my camera and the colors look fine. I cannot recommend this light enough. I can think of 100 uses for it in my photography and will likely buy another with batteries just to have. Great Product!

Excellent fill light for video and photography – Amazing construction
First, do NOT purchase this light to illuminate a dark room, you will be disappointed. This is a great fill light with variable brightness and temperature control—very nice! The product is durable, constructed of metal instead of plastic. The case is very nice, the light and the power cord and adapter fits nice and snug; the case is padded. The whole system looks and feels great. The barndoors is a real game changer that takes this devise to a five star, especially when you consider all metal construction, temperature and brightness control and the ability to be wire-less, yes wireless. For an additional $20 - $30 you can get a twin battery pack and charge for this device; which uses two batteries by the way. I do think the product is a little over priced at $172.00+/-. The actual lighting is about 9” x 9”, as I stated this is not to be used to fill a room with light, but should only be used a supplement or fill light. This is a five-star product in every aspect except for pricing. I am not a cheap-scape, but I think they can knock an additional $40 - $50 off the price with no problem. I own two of these lights along with a set of heavy-duty PRO PBL light stands. I might add I purchased these to get away from lugging around a set of softboxes that uses multiple CFL’s and are cumbersome to say the least. I don’t mean to be critical, but I am going to give this light 4 stars based on price-point. If price isn’t an issue, you will NOT be disappointed with this product if used for a fill light.

Very, very useful light
As a professional video producer, I usually have to have some lights with me when filming. Large or small -- they're a necessary hassle. But sometimes I don't need all those lights on a project. Or cords. Or accessories. Sometimes, just one light is sufficient. Enter this Neewer LED light. Just two days ago, I used it on a shoot when I need some light on some store products I was filming close-up. I've also used this light when I needed just a little bit more light than what was already available in a conference room. A huge plus for this light: It can run on batteries, instead of A/C. Battery power lasts several hours, too. The color temperature knob, and the dimmer knob, are separate and easy to control. They work well! Build quality is higher than I expected. It doesn't feel cheap, but instead it's well-made. It attaches easily to a standard light stand. Really like the included barn doors and diffuser, too. I love this light.

I bought 2 of these and they are good....really!
A few things are not well described or described at all in the Product Description. The carrying case has a zipper and is of reasonably good quality. I think it will last for years. The rocker switch is center off. To the left it is on batteries if you have them. To the right marked with 2 lines is to the power supply. The power supply is 15vdc at 3amps which is 45 watts. The device is rated at 40 watts max. The barn doors are relatively thick. The panel is about 8 by 9 by 2 approximately. The LED array is alternating which and yellow high intensity. The AC cord is maybe a little more than 6 feet. From the power supply to the device is about 4 feet. So, the cord is overall; short. The white piece of plastic is fragile and about 1/16 of an inch thick. The mechanics of the device are very good and robust. Looks like it can clamp onto a piece of pipe that is more than 1/2 inch. The thumbscrews for the barn doors can be relocated to give more room near the yoke. I hope this helps someone. I am going to use this for YouTube videos about ham radio. Jim W6LG

Good option for video projects
I've been using two of these units for our church Livestream for more than a year. I needed two more to complete the project. I've never had a problem with the Neewer lights. I can't speak to battery life as we use the ac adapters. But I can say they provide good consistent coverage.

Absurdly convenient. Great quality light and very portable. Seconds to set up.
These things are amazing. These Neewer LED lights are replacing the soft box lights I used to use for photo shoots. Those soft boxes took me like 15 minutes to set up, putting it all together and adding all the lightbulbs and such (not to mention replacing all the bulbs if I wanted to change color temperature). This Neewer light just attaches to the light stand and it's ready — I don't even need to plug it into the wall, because I can use rechargeable batteries for it (you have to buy them separately, but omg so worth it). And the color temperature is adjustable on the fly. Such a convenient, portable, effective light. I bought two of them (as well as some colored gels) so I could have two different colors on each side of my subject.

Bang for your buck.
Looked for a while across multiple lights. THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOUR MONEY. 10/10 quality, the lighting is GREAT and it isn't insanely heavy. Feels incredibly premium. Also amongst the cheapest of its kind.

Excellent Model
Excellent build. Portable. Works off 2 NP type cells or off a 12V power brick. Doesn't get hot. Despite having metal parts, it's very lite. The barn door frame could've been just a tad wider, as the rim blocks some light, but the entire section is removable, if it becomes problematic. Highly recommend this model over lower end Neewer alternatives. If you get an underpowered light - you can't make it brighter. If you start with a panel like this, you can always dim it down. If I could only buy a single light, I'd go for this one and some reflectors. Lower end Neewer's lack features. Some don't even have a DC plug. This one is ideal.
