wioboy Micro SD Card Reader Memory Card Adapter 3-in-1 Lightning Cable External Storage Adapter for iPhone iPad

I bought this to backup more than 6000 photos and videos in my iphone. There is a micro SD card reader inside the standard USB port, which is neat and is my favorite feature. To use this cable, you need to install a app called "iUSB Pro" which is free in Apple's app store. After installing the app, I put a 32G micro SD card in the reader, than plug the cable to my iphone. The iUSB Pro automatically pop up and ready to use. The app is easy to use. I copied all my photos and video to the card, about 15.5 G. The total procedure lasts about 20 to 25 minutes. Then I put the card in my Chromebook’s micro SD card reader, everything showed up. Also with the cable plugged in, you can also take photos and videos and store directly to the card. I don’t really need this but it could be handy when you need it. I love iPhone but not a fan of itunes and am not interested to pay the iCloud monthly fees, so this cable really get me out of all the hassles.BTW, all the photos are transferred from my iPhone to Chromebook using this cable. I'm happy with the result.

if anyone has storage issues with the iphone, this would be the solution. The first thing to notice about this storage device is that it will plug into the iphone that has just about any case on it. There is no need to remove the case as with many other iphone storage devices. It is a well built product not feeling cheap and the micro sd card stays very secure and won't fall out. it also works as a phone charger as well. It works very fast when you plug it in and it is relatively easy to use. There is about a 5 minute learning curve. I would suggest to save your photos first and then get use to using the app which is free in the app store (iusb pro). The great thing is when you are out and about, you can record directly to the micro sd card. the only draw back i can observe is that it is one more thing to carry or get lost. But, for the price you cant go wrong.

This works as advertised - I bought this to transfer data from micro SD card from dashcam to my iphone. All works well with the app - only reason I am docking a star is due to the short lightning connector. I have an otterbox case on my iphone and I have to remove the protective case to fit the reader into the phone. I went ahead and picked up the other wioboy connector and I don't have this problem. Overall, product works as advertised and I would recommend - just be aware of the short lightning connector if you have a case on your iphone.

Works exactly as advertised. Like having an external hard drive attached to your PC.I got this for my daughter who was begging for a bigger phone because its internal drive was nearly full with music and photos. Problem solved. Off load the big files (videos, photos and music) to this baby and free up the space on the phone - at a much more reasonable cost. Also makes sharing media very simple.Plug the USB end into your PC or Mac, copy your files to the wioboy. When done, plug it into the phone and upload - or vice versa.Plug the wioboy into your phone, copy your files from the phone. When done, plug the USB end it into your PC or Mac and download.You can also simply access the files on the wioboy directly from your phone.Delivery was prompt.

The copy process when using the iPhone app is not always reliable. No warnings or errors indicating it failed to copy everything! I've found that selecting smaller numbers of individual files seems to do the trick. You'll just need to track what you've backed up before you delete from your phone. I love the fact that this doubles as a charger and a computer USB adapter for SD cards.

I originally purchased the Lexar SD to Lightening Reader. This one is FAR better! You are able to use it with any case on the phone! Four stars simply because the instructions are not written very well. Instructions would read better if written by a native English speaking technical writer. BUT, the app is fairly self explanatory, or easy to figure out on its own.

Purchased 1 for my wife as a gift a year ago to store photo's and video from her iphone 5s. Purchased one for her sisters 5s. Each have a 64GB Sandisk MicroSD, So far both have performed as advertised without issues. Removal of MicroSD card needs to be made easier.

This works well for off loading all of those vacation videos and photos from your phone, keeping memory free for app processing and file management. I installed a 128GB micro SD card to insure I had plenty of room. You can transfer files, photo's and videos to and from iPad's and iPhone's as well as your computer. Works well, could use a better manual.
