Fit like a glove
Fit like a glove, worked like a charm...The contractors quoted me $3000- $400 for a new window, and said "they always say it will be easy; good luck with that." Well, $50 dollars later, I have a like-new window. It was so easy to install; 2 screws and a clip. took only a few minutes. Now I need to get 2 more for the other cheapo windows the guy sold me years ago!

Hard to find item, easily found. Easy to install too.Works just like original and window did not need to be replaced.

Take the extra time.
These come in a number of different sizes. Take the time to measure your particular opener and compare to the product specifications. Don't guess! Once the wooden trim is carefully remove, replacing the mechanism is a snap.

Ordering was not what I expected and shipping was horrible. This has nothing to do with the product
OK. Ordering was not what I expected and shipping was horrible. This has nothing to do with the product. Replaced 1989 system (2 of them) and these worked great. In fact old system had 6 screws and this one was more secure with 8. Installation was pretty simple and, so far these have been working as expected. Had it not been for the ordering (had to make 3 orders to get two units) and the shipping amounted to 9 days and 11 days which when I pay for is unacceptable in my opinion I would have given 5 stars.
