It works as a advertised, but I overlooked the hose diameter, so I had to get creative to drain the Jeep fuel tank to change the skid plate and straps.

I used it 3 times to fill up the boat and the plastic housing on either side of the bulb split rendering it useless, might have been due to use with gas??

Been waiting to review this till I really had a chance to try it out. This weekend we;re finishing up getting the yard ready for winter and every year I have to drain the water out of the base of the kids basketball hoop and backboard.I dread this task. Every year I end up with a mouth full of what amounts to bird-bath water trying the get siphon started and the water drained out.No more. :)This pump is exactly what I needed. Dead simple to put together. Easy to start. Small enough to take along wherever for whatever job easily, and big enough to move through a good amount of liquid in a short period of time.The rubber hand pump feels like it is good quality, with a one-way valve built in. The included clear tubing is thick enough not to kink easily.... Includes a shut off valve and hose type clamps as well to secure fittings if you need them.All in all - it is a very nice kit to have a round the house, or in the truck.

I've had these before that didn't work worth a s***. This one has big bulb and hose grabbed the fuel and lifted easily. One over the hump flowed great.
