The clock is fine. The thermometer is not.
I like the clock. I like the projection. Iโve not had any reason to try the radio or alarm. The temperature always passively reads 75ยฐF. If I hold the sensor in my hand for awhile, I can get it to go up. Perhaps this is the wrong sort of temperature probe? If you need a clock that projects clearly on the wall or ceiling, this does the trick. Itโs bright. Itโs clear. (The included photo is in a room that is not completely dark and the time is visible, though my phoneโs camera may be improving it a bit here)The USB port on the back is useful, though I wish it was on the side.

FINALLY! A KEEPER!
I needed a clock that had FM (AND AM) radio with GOOD projection. I returned THREE other clocks (including a $70 SONY) before trying this one, and I seriously don't understand how it's only 13 bucks!! I presumed it was cheap, but that's not the case at all! I would've paid over 2 times the price for this thing! The main reason I returned all the clocks previous to this was that their projectors were too bright and/or had a lit background around the projected digits that added unnecessary illumination, or that they only had FM radio or no radio at all. This one finally covers all the bases!

good projection clock with minor inconveniences
This alarm clock is easy to use, comes with dual alarms, a nice projection feature, and some other nice features. But first, lets say what this clock isn't. It isn't a bluetooth enabled, or USB auxiliary connected radio, so you can't play your phone or iPod music through the device. That's fine for me, and the radio doesn't claim to have that feature, but in case you were confused I just wanted to state explicitly that this feature isn't here. With that out of the way, the rest of the features this clock has are nice, and they work well. The clock has a self set time feature, so even if power goes out and back on, the time will auto set. Take it for a trip and set it in a hotel room, the time will auto set when you plug it in. Very nice. There is a battery backup, and this is used simply to store your set alarm time and radio station, so if power goes out and back on, your alarm will stay set correctly as well. There are two alarms, and each alarm can be set for 7 days, 5 weekdays, or weekends. and you can bifurcate each alarm to have one time for weekdays and another for weekends. so basically you can do 2 different weekday alarms and 2 different weekend alarms that are separate from the weekday alarm times. Very nice, but note that you can't define what is a weekday, so if you work non-standard work weeks you will be a little more inconvenienced. Another positive, the alarms can each have their own radio station, so wake up to NPR on the weekday and music on the weekends if you want. There is a date and temperature display that auto sets along with the clock. This is nice, but it would be nice if there was a convenient way to make the temperature display be the outdoor temperature. I really don't care what my bedroom temperature is, personally. But I am told that some people like to ensure a set bedroom temperature as it affects their sleep, and you can't always tell that by feel when you're just laying down for the night, so this may be good for those people. The clock can also be set to auto rotate it's display through the time, temp, date displays. The projection feature is nice, it can go on a wall or ceiling with a vertical swivel that changes the horizontal location of the display (we keep it on the ceiling over the bed) and there's a 180 degree flip to ensure it faces in generally the correct direction. You can adjust the focus and the intensity of the light to ensure the projection meets your desired display. The projection, however, can not be set to rotate through time/temp/date. It can display the temp and date if you depress the button on the clock, but it can't be set to auto rotate the display like the clock face can. Not a problem for me, but something that might be for you. Some turnoffs for us, which resulted in a less than perfect score. The clock face display is bright, i mean it will illuminate a dark room. it has three intensity settings and an off, even the dimmest setting will illuminate a dark room which is too much for my wife so we use the "off" setting. This is fine for us, since the time will still project on the ceiling even with the clock face display turned off.Going along with this, when your alarm goes off, your display will go to the brightest setting. You can snooze the alarm and the display will go back to it's set dimming level (or in our case, off), same with when you turn off the alarm, the dimming level goes back to your setting. Most people would like this, I suppose. Alarm goes off, they wake up. I'm different, I like the alarm to go off and then I lay in bed and listen to the news for 20 minutes or so, talk to my wife and gradually wake up. I would prefer being able to set the alarm to not affect the clock face display, just leave it off even when the alarm radio comes on. I hate that I can't do that, but I'm learning to live with it.The USB charging port is nice. It accepts standard USB cables for any device, phone, etc. It does support fast charging on my Samsung Note phone so I can charge my phone (with an 8000 mAh extended battery) in about 2 hours, if that is useful for you.All in all, very nice clock with radio. Radio gets good signal as well in my area (East suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA) so very few complaints. I would trade it out for a model that has a green digit display, or can be dimmed lower and remain dimmed even when the alarm goes off. That's my most hated feature of this clock.

Numerous useful features - slightly confusing to set up
I don't know why it is so hard to find alarm clock radios that automatically reset themselves after a power outage or that project that time/date on the ceiling but I looked for a very long time before finding this one. I purchased two of these clocks for my children, ages 9 and 12, after owning a similar type clock from another manufacturer for a few years now. We just set up the clocks today so I cannot speak to how well they will hold up or whether the time will remain accurate, however, this clock has a number of useful features that we were pleased with. Having the time projected on the ceiling is more convenient that one might initially think. It is nice not to have to roll over or contort your neck to check the time. In my son's case, he doesn't have a bedside table and his clock sits across the room so this feature is very handy. There is a wheel to adjust the sharpness of the projected numbers and to flip them 180 degrees so that they are always right side up, regardless of where your clock is sitting. Also, especially necessary for my children is the ability to adjust the brightness of the display itself. They can't sleep with a bright display and there are three brightness settings and one to turn the display off completely while still retaining the ability to project the time on the ceiling. There are two alarms, which can be set to wake to radio or a buzzer, and can be set to wake you Mon-Fri, seven days a week, one day a week, or Sat/Sun only. This is handy if two people need alarms set for two different times or if one person needs a different alarm time for weekdays versus the weekends. I did have a little bit of trouble initially completely setting up the first clock since there is a reference to a button that existed only as a photo, but after trying few different things, I was able to figure it out. It took me 15 minutes or so to set up the first one completely with the correct time zone and alarm settings, but once I figured it out, it wasn't difficult to set up the second one. Some of the setup is completely intuitive but the manual is good and I was able to manage by carefully reading and following it. This clock also has a USB plug for charging things like phones and iPods, which makes my daughter very happy since she can now plug her phone into her clock and lie in bed and text her friends or stream a movie on her phone. I can't attest yet to how quickly it charges or how well that part works but at the moment, it seems to be working fine. There were only a few minor reasons I didn't give it five stars. First, I do think the setup and the steps for setting it could be more simple. There is a temperature gauge of some sort on the bottom of the clock so that you can press a button and have the clock display the room temperature. The temperature kept changing by several degrees when I would move the clock or pick it up. Perhaps the heat of my hand affected it but I would be surprised if it were that sensitive. I'm not sure I trust that the temperature reading is correct. My own self-setting clock also has an option for various nature sounds as an alarm mode, instead of just the radio or buzzer. It also has a little flashlight that charges via the clock that I find I grab all of the time when I have to get out of bed in the dark. I personally prefer that option to the USB charger, but my daughter would disagree. All in all a nice clock with good features at a reasonable price. This was by far the best option for what I was looking for and I looked for a long time. It was smaller and lighter in weight than I expected which gave it a bit of a cheap feel, but if it keeps accurate time and the alarms are dependable, it is one of the best options with the most features on the market in its price range.

Great little combo alarm
Overall this is great. Only thing I have an issue with is the one am sports channel I need to tune in does not get reception on it. Besides that it works well and is small.

Very Easy Set Up
I bought this for my husband as his long-time radio alarm finally died. I ordered another alarm and had to send it back as it was just too difficult to figure out the settings as so many of these new clock radios are. This one was very easy to set up. The instructions were easy to follow and everything works as it should. All the buttons are labelled so that you know what their function is, unlike other clocks that are like reading a puzzle. The numbers are a bright white color and it does throw a slight glow in the room at night, but very little. We did set it to the lowest brightness to help with that. If you find it too bright you can turn the clock off so that you have a black blank clock face and still get the red time image on the ceiling. The radio sound is a bit tinny but that doesn't matter to us; its only on for a few seconds when the alarm goes off. The radio does tune well to all the local radio stations both FM and AM. Good little clock radio!

A Great Little Clock.
I really love this clock. I used a similar clock at relatives over seas and was looking for a similar one everywhere before checking online. I like the white display as I find it easier to read and less harsh than blue. Although some of the reviews said the ceiling display was weak I did not find this. I have it projecting on the ceiling and can see it quiet well even when I'm in the hallway. It is true though that you can not see it unless the room in dark, which is fine for my needs. I bought it to see at night. The UBS charging works well and has been very convenient. It has a dimmer so you can dim or turn off the on clock display if you wish. It has a number of alarm settings to program the two alarms which I've never seen before and are great. It was very easy to program but I did have to read the manual to figure out how to use a few of the features. The only CON for me is that the alarm turns off after 30 minutes. That is just too short for me. In addition the alarm gets increasingly louder so it begins very quietly. While a nice feature, I do not always come awake quick enough. I am a heavy sleeper and have slept through the alarm even when volume is at its highest. I am currently using both alarm settings to extend the alarm to an hour. I wish each alarm had an hour shut down or a way to program the length of the alarm similar to how you can program the auto shut off. All in all a great clock. I've only had it a couple of months but no buyers remorse here!

This radio is small but mighty!
This cute little radio has all the features I need and then some. I have been searching for a radio that hasAM/FM, USB charging port and time projection. This radio has it all. I was able to easily set up the radio without looking at the instructions. it has so many additional features. You can set different wake times for each day of the week. You can adjust the focus on your projection. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my son.

I bought this because of the time projection and it's perfect. It's bright and clear and the radio sounds good. Happy with my purchase and would recommend.

MANY USEFUL FEATURES IN A ALARM CLOCK/RADIO
First of all, I want to thank the seller for their customer service. The device came with a room temperature sensor that proved to be defective and unreliable. It seemed to be stuck on one temp. reading and would not change, no matter which room I placed it. I had been unable to actually talk with a tech support agent because the office was always closed. (I was later told that it was because of COVID). I tried 'chatting' and was given a tip on resetting the device. I tried their method and it did not work. The problem persisted.I finally reached someone in operations who was very helpful and passed my issue up the 'chain'. I promptly received a reply, informing me that the the company would replace the unit. A couple of days later, I received a new unit and it is set up and everything is working properly. I like the following features: the aforementioned room temp. sensor, the wall and ceiling projection of time and temp., the radio preset stations, the push button volume adjustment, and the USB charging port.I almost forgot the alarm feature. I like the fact that I can chose either every day or chose a specific day of the week ahead of time and the alarm automatically wakes me without my having to push any buttons to turn the alarm on and off.
