I’ve got super fine, straight hair that usually just kind of lies there, no matter what I do. I’ve tried a bunch of volumizing sprays over the years, and most either make my hair stiff, sticky, or greasy within hours. So I didn’t have huge expectations for the John Frieda Volume Lift Blow-Out Spray—but it actually surprised me in a really good way.I spray it on damp roots before blow-drying, and it gives me a noticeable lift without that crunchy feeling. My hair feels soft and still moves naturally, which I love. It also seems to help hold the style longer throughout the day. Not va-va-voom volume, but enough to make a difference and look like I actually did something with my hair.The scent is light and clean, nothing overpowering, and it doesn’t linger too long. A little goes a long way too! I also love the price, especially when compared to more expensive sprays that don't work nearly as well.Only downside: the volume doesn’t last forever. By the end of the day, my hair is usually back to its usual flat self, but it holds better than most products I’ve tried. I live in Florida, so I'm sure the humidity has a lot to do with it.

Works great on my thin fine hair.It doesn't weigh it down, but adds the look of fullness. I do apply to wet & set hair.

Product is good, but the top broke on my very first use. At least I can still unscrew it to use.

I have used this product for many years. I suppose the reason I can't find the product in the original form is because they are repackaging the product. The new product is not new and improved. The sprayer is not practical and if you look the ingredients are different. I will use it until I finish it but in the meantime I will be looking for a root lift that actually works. I imagine loyal customers will move on since the product is not the same, we were loyal for a reason. Some people may not notice you have to peel the back label to read ingredients. Newer customers won't realize the fail comparatively from the old formula but those of us using the old formula consistantly do.

Not worth the price. Very small bottle. Doesnt work and makes my head itchy!!! Wish there was a O star option or Negative numbers option!!!

Best product ever. I use it when I curl my hair after I blow it dry. It protects my hair as well as making it fuller. I have been using this for years. I would highly recommend it.
