Using a a kill switch. Simple, in same space as tone. Can't even trek is there. Wonderful piece a kit.

Perfect replacement for a pot I pulled up on to take the knob off and heard it pop. It ceased to function properly after so this part was a drop in replacement. Easy to use in terms of soldering and comes with all the necessary components. Great quality and worked as expected.

I installed this pot into a Tele to switch a blackguard circuit on and off. The push switch works perfectly & the stock Fender knobs are a perfect fit for the pot shaft. Tested resistance was within 5% of nominal and, while it was tight, the pot fit inside the tele’s control cavity without the need for routing even after I rotated the control plate. The solder lugs were big enough to accommodate the wiring I was doing and the switch functions quietly.

If you wire it the normal way (right lug), 75% of the knobs travel does nothing and then it all kicks in at once. Wiring to the left lug makes the tone full on at 10 and has to be rolled down to 0 for normal behavior. If wiring to the teeny tiny lugs on the push push switch wasn't such a hassle, I'd send it back for a refund, but no.....my friend is just going to have a backwards (turn it all the way down to sound normal) tone control. These are great, but I have no idea why they're not MUCH more popular!Think about it. You just bonk it down quickly with your palm to engage or disengage it, instead of having to dig your fingers under the knob to lift it up (and possibly turning the knob where you don't want it, in the process!)But I must add: Just because these are hard to find doesn't make them worth $15... Shame on you, Allparts... And shame on other similar suppliers for not also stocking these.But, it's a very worthy upgrade! Makes coil splitting faster and fluid :)

I liked this item because it makes it easier to turn on or off the out of phase tone on my guitar

Why use a push/pull when you can use a push/push?No brainer.

This is an expensive, but quality piece of kit. Much nicer to use that push/pull. One note is that this must be wired on the opposite pole than normal for right-handed players.

Questo potenziometro push push si rivela più comodo rispetto ai push pull, non bisogna infilare l' unghia sotto la manopola del tono (l' ho installato lì) per attivare lo splittaggio del pickup humbucker della chitarra. Funziona correttamente

Contrary to what it says, this pot actually has a switch mechanism the same as a pen. You click it in and click it out, and it it feels about as flimsy as a pen mechanism too!The pot is poorly constructed and feels cheap - it’s about half the size of a standard pot (see photo) - and it has different levels of resistance depending on whether it’s in or out!!Considering you can buy a genuine, full size CTS Push-Pull that ACTUALLY IS A PUSH PULL for about £7 I CANNOT recommend this to anyone. Not this or any of the ones this style. Unusable.
