Garnier SkinActive SPF 30 Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid, 2.5 fl. oz.

I purchased this moisturizer because I have combination/oily skin (mostly dry in the winter) and I was looking for a product that had SPF, but would sink into my skin and feel like nothing, but also sit well under makeup. Obviously, I wanted moisture too, but nothing too heavy. My favorite moisturizer ever is the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, but it is so expensive and has no SPF which is not good for when it gets warmer. I picked this one because it had fairly good reviews and I like it, it is not bad, but it does make my skin a little shiny and doesn't really ever fully sink in. It feels super nice and it doesn't disrupt my makeup too much, but I do find that it seems to rub off the makeup in the center of my face, which I never had a problem with before. It is okay, but I think for anyone oiler than me, it would be too much. The smell is not bad to me, it just smells like sunscreen and it does go away once rubbed in. Overall for the price it's not bad, but I think next time I will purchase the one from CeraVe. I think that will be better for my skin.

I have acne prone skin so I need to be very picky with my moisturizers. This gives me a good base layer of sun protection without feeling heavy or overly like I’m putting on sunscreen

This is an excellent sunscreen and moisturizer in one. It is better than the Korean product I'd been using, which is saying a lot as I was very satisfied with that product also. The only negative on this one is it really, really stings if you get it into your eye area or even close to the eye. So proceed with caution. I have started washing my hands after application and before touching my skin to layer this with other cosmetic products. I'd buy more from the Garnier Moisture Bomb series, absolutely. I really like the smooth pump applicator, too.

I've tried about a dozen different varieties of moisturizers over the years, and this one is a clear winner for me. The formula is gentle and easy to apply, absorbing quickly into the skin. No oily residue and my face doesn't sweat under it like it tends to do with others. I also love the way it makes my skin super soft and smooth. Works well for make up. I even used some on my 5 year old's face (she gets red, dry patches on her cheeks) and it worked like a charm to reduce the redness and moisturize the dry, itchiness - all without stinging or burning like most other moisturizers do for her. Not to mention it's affordable! We'll definitely be buying this again and again.

Sometimes it takes years to find a new face lotion when your favorite one goes away. I'm in that situation. I like a light feeling, non-greasy, oil free lotion that has SPF and AND: the AND: no SPF scent.Almost every lotion that has SPF in it has a "suncreen smell" that I can't stand, and which burns my eyes.FINALLY: one that meets all of these requirements. I'll stock up because I can't stand another 5-10 year time where I'm randomly jumping from face lotion to lotion that I don't like and never settle in on.

I love Garnier moisturizers they are one of my favorites from the drug store. I love the moisture bomb line it gives amazing hydration without making your face and makeup look like an oily mess. I have the Moisture bomb gel moisturizer but needed one with SPF now for the summer. I've been using it for the last few weeks and I really like it. It does feel and smell a little bit like plain SPF when applying it but it's absorbed quickly. Makeup goes on like a dream and it protects my skin which is my main purpose for the purchase. Also, the bottle is great for travel because it's not glass. Couldn't be happier and will be purchasing another bottle before summer ends.

I have combination/sensitive skin. I've broken out from a lot of moisturizers. I loved the Moisture Bomb Gel (which I had a sample of) so I purchased it and this. The Garnier Skin Active SPF Moisturizer is wonderful. It has a high SPF but it doesn't leave a white or blue cast on your face and absorbs quickly. It's very moisturizing without being greasy. My only issue is how poorly it's packaged when boxed for shipment. There's no padding so the item rolls around the box. This seems to be a standard for Amazon.

It’s lightweight and goes on smooth. It doesn’t have a bunch of fragrance. Stings if you get in your eyes tho. It’s moisturizing without being overly heavy. I wear under makeup and it doesn’t slide around. So far my favorite daily face moisturizer. Feel like it helped control my breakouts too.
