Plantronics Audio Adapter, RIG LX1 Advanced Audio Adapter for Gaming Headsets with Dual Audio Mixer and Fingertip Controls

I bought this to replace my previous turtle beach adapter which worked great for 2+ years till it finally gave out. I was reading good reviews on this one so I decided to give it a try. Audio quality is the only reason Im giving it 2 stars. Sounds clear but def not as good as the turtle beach one. Easy to use. The game volume/chat volume adjustment knob is extremely loose and literally adjusts itself while playing.. Now for the reason why I'm giving it 2 stars. As soon as I joined a party everyone instantly pointed out how bad the audio quality of the mic was with this adapter. Replaced the cord on my sennheisers, cleaned the connections, tried a different controller and still no improvement. Came to the conclusion it's the adapter itself.UPDATE: so according to everyone this amp is making it impossible to play with me cause it's sending crazy audio disturbance and everyone has to mute me lol guess I won't be using this thing for any online play

Love it! Best headset controller for the Xbox one. (Admittedly haven’t tried Astro Mixamp M80 because overpriced) Love the two wheel design as it’s super easy to use on the fly, and the two adjustment modes for them are a thoughtful touch. The three EQ modes actually sound different and quite rich. Favorite feature might be the giant mute button with the solid red light when muted. Sounds stupid, but a big mute button is almost top priority in my opinion, and Microsoft’s version is the only other one that comes close. Cherry on top is the aux port for me to mix in my tunes. Tried Turtle Beaches Audio controller Plus and was not impressed. Returned it. Only complaint is $50 is a little much but it’s worth it.

This audio adapter for the Xbox one controller is one of the best I have used.Most of the ones I have used tend to lose audio from loose connections and are hard to adjust the volume on the fly but these allow you to move the dial up and down easily making it ideal for me and anyone else looking for the best audio adapter out there.

It’s perfect for Xbox One! I like the wheel design much more over any other companys’ designs. The wheel is my favorite part. It makes me feel the most in control over my game to chat volume ratio and it’s so easy to use. I never noticed a difference in the options on the button at the top right but i’m sure it makes the sound even better. And it doesn’t get in the way at all. AND if you have trouble with it, contact Plantronics through live support, tell them what’s wrong, and pretty much every time they just ask for your receipt so you show them your order purchase from Amazon via email and they just send you another one completely free! Plantronics is a great company and I highly recommend buying this if you’re looking for an Xbox One adapter!

Great device, love being able to listen to music & not worry about Pandora freezing on me! EQ 2nd setting is my fav! Only one thing I'd make a change to. The game/chat volume control, needs more resistance. Moves way to easy when bumped by accident!

Great device. Just being able to use any headphones is awesome. Can't really tell the difference between sound modes but it sounds great!

This is a great product. If your Xbox one controller 3.5 input has quit working with your headset, this will fix the issue. So don't throw those controllers away. I am not a paid reviewer
