I bought this after taking in a stray cat. She has to stay in my room as my other cats are not fond of her. I needed something that could be used a nightstand as well as hiding the litter box. This worked perfectly. So easy to set up too! You won't regret purchasing this.

I expected a cheap material, and was pleasantly surprised! So easy to open and assemble and was packed so well. Really great product for the money! The cats love it and seem to enjoy the privacy, it is now their preferred litter box.

I absolutely luv this house!!! However the purchaser/user must BEWARE OF A VERY BAD SAFETY HAZARD FOR PETS AND CHILDREN!!!! The drop down cover can easily cause severe injury and death since it has NO SUPPORT TO HOLD IT IN OPEN POSITION!!! It is a very well made piece of furniture but is lacking that one very critical thing. It is so nice that my friend thought I purchased it for my three kittens to play in. Unfortunately I don’t have an area away from the maddening crowds that cats shy away from to use litter boxes so it’s in my bedroom. Their litter house keeps the litter contained as well as the odor. The fresh scent of the pine attracted them right away to check it out and of course exercised their rights to scratch it first thing!! Fine it’s theirs… what I will do is get a few carpet pieces to finish off the corners and spray with catnip. Will be putting cushions on top of it so they can relax on it, too. Perhaps the builder can add the safety hinges for any made after this time? Previous buyers can DIY for a few dollars from Lowe’s or Home Depot or even here on Amazon! I will be adding. I luv my fur babies and try to prevent preventable accidents bith with them and children.

This is exactly what we needed! We have the 35" x 23" x 27" doghouse in a corner window. Our rescue cat enjoys perching and sleeping with a thick thai mat and cat bed on top. There's room for some toys and a food bowl too. We had been using one of the planter style litter containers (looks like a terra cotta planter), and this fits inside with room to spare for a scoop/holder and scratchpad, and attach an LED button light inside.. She came from an outdoor life, and likes the privacy of the hidden loo/ potty inside, and it's big enough that the air stays fresh. Easy to clean from the large open door, or open the lid for a deeper clean.We like the natural pine, smells good, is smooth and clean, and it looks beautiful next to our other cat's wooden condo, and in our home. Definitely one of the best purchases we've made for our fur baby.Updated: The original is still in use - these last long and are worthwhile. We bought a second, smaller one for one of our cats who prefers less of a jump. We use the made-for-kids type foam play mats to line the floor, as they are easy to clean, provide padding and help ensure litter doesn't escape through the seams. Attach a scratching board inside or out, and make your furbabies happy :)Update - As we adopted another rescue, plus we have foster cats, we have invested in a third of these - with the original still in perfect condition. It has been easy to keep these clean, to get any less than desirable odours out of the pine with natural cleaners. Fits an extra large stainless steel litter box with tall sides.

heavy duty easy to assemble looks awesome !!

It's been a while that I have been looking for something to hide my kitties' litter box. Many out there tend to be too small (not large or not high enough, taking only small litter box). I needed something that allows my kitties to easily move around.This is nothing fancy (more like something you'd put in a basement) and so rather expensive for what it is. Ikea style and very very cheap pine, like for crates with potential splinters (the wood can break into splinters, be careful). However it is okay put together and sturdy enough for kitties. And most importantly it's the perfect size to hide a good size litter box without the kitties having trouble moving inside.The pine wood is untreated, so no chemicals, which is fine. You have to treat it, particularly because you need to smooth out the potential spIinters (this is important!). I use non-toxic pet-safe products. I stained the outside with water based color. And I condition with beeswax based wood conditioner. All these can be found on Amazon.Expect some work as mentioned earlier. No assembly and the ability to easily bring it back to being flat helps a lot.

Easy to put together and easy to clean litter box in it

This review is for the Petsfit Folding Litter Box Enclosure. It is absolutely fantastic! Well made (smart design!), no assembly required! Nicely made (good quality wood) and nice looking. Made of pine I think (no stain). I'm very impressed by the folding design. The company should make other furniture like this! So easy! It is worth the money! Other reviewers mentionned that the wood warped. I ordered two and they are both perfect....no warping at all. Nice latch at the top. It fits nicely in any room. I will add a plastic liner at the bottom to make cleaning easier. Highly recommend!

Great looking product, folds to build, wow! I am using now dual purpose lol- put some clothes inside and now one of our bengals climbs in and sleeps on my clothing happily! Works perfectly as a night table too! Maybe going to get another! (ps. they did not like it as a litterbox area)

My favourite thing about this is that there is no assembly! I bought this for about $160/$170. I use this to separate my cats’ feeding areas since the one is on a vet food for his health. The cat I have for using this is a fairly big cat and having his food separate will allow me to also manage his diet better to get him back to a healthy weight. I honestly have no problems with this other than the latch not always matching up properly. Super great product!Edit: It’s now 2023 and both are still going strong even after two years. I don’t advise putting your full body weight on them or at least not often. They are quite easy to travel with as I had let my sister borrow one and it fit fine folded up in her car.

Easy to pop out and set up but both sides of it were completely curved. The lid won’t close as a result and sits about an inch above the base. The clasp won’t latch then either. On top of that the lid came with a major crack in it. Super disappointed.

This is perfect for hiding the litter box. Easy to set up and it looks really nice. My only complaint is that the lid doesn’t stay closed because there is a very slight bow to it. So even with the latch it pops out and the lid opens about an inch. It doesn’t bother me but just worth noting. I’d buy it again despite that issue.
