Good filter but not really suitable for the Fluval Evo 13.5
I bought this for the Fluval Evo 13.5 marine version and it looks identical to the stock one that comes with the tank, however it is slightly larger and is a pain to place into the filter housing. With some effort it goes in and works fine but I would rather get a different filter foam for my tank if I could.

Essential Foam filter
For the Flex, original equipment that is dear for what it is, but it lasts a year before replacement is necessary. does its job and filters out the crud from the water. Just rinse it out frequently when you top up or change some water.

Exactly as you'd expect, a replacement filter insert. Only downside is that it did not come with the plastic clip as shown in the photo. Hence the missing star
