We had some issues with delivery - only one box was delivered and the other apparently was missing. We ended up purchasing from a different retailer. That aside - the bed was not too difficult to assemble. It absolutely required two people though.. even just one to hold things in place while the other did the actual assembling. It seems pretty sturdy. We got a king sized and I was apprehensive to get a platform bed in this size because of longevity. After putting this together and using for a couple of months I am not worried at all about this falling apart. I love this bed. Its also gorgeous. I spent hours and hours and hours searching for the perfect headboard/frame for our new house and once I saw this it was a no brainer. It's so nice looking. I love the way it makes our bedroom feel and look.If you're on the fence I would absolutely recommend this product.

We used to have a loft bed, but our kids kept climbing in in less than smart ways - so we got this day bed instead. They like it so much, there has been begging to sleep there instead of in the bedrooms. Dad actually dozed off there yesterday too…

Easy to assemble but I highly suggest 2 people. Attaching the sides was a little hard on my own. Overall it is beautifully designed, sturdy, and came as pictured. I would recommend this product.

The headboard is nice and seems high quality. The velvet makes it look expensive. The legs are on the cheapish side, but luckily not noticeable. It did arrive without slats unfortunately, so we had to build a platform of sorts, which was a huge pain.

I put this bed together by myself. Took about three hours. The instructions weren’t very clear at times but, other than that. Happy w/ my purchase.

I actually found the bed was pretty easy to assemble. I love that the slats get locked into place, it makes it all feel really sturdy. The color is super nice as well, just what we were looking for. At a pretty fair price too!

The bed arrived in 5 days as advertised, on time (they gave me a two hour window), carefully handled and well packaged. No damage at all, not one spot of dirt, and all required pieces were present except the caps that go on the bottom of the center bar.I assembled the bed myself in less than 2 hours, made possible by the fact that it is lighter than I expected. The instructions were clear. I skipped the Allen-wrench that came with it and used my drill with a Phillips-head bit. Worked fine and didn’t strip the screws. All screw holes were placed correctly. Headboard, side, and foot pieces all went together easily.Assembling the mattress supports was a breeze, except one side piece wouldn’t fit. Fortunately, there were two spares that came with it and one of those fit just fine.If anything goes wrong over the next couple of months, I’ll update. For now though, I’m quite happy.UPDATE: I’ve had the bed almost a full year. No problems at all. I am very happy with it.
