Works and I really like it.
Made my first cake in this today and it baked it beautifully. I wasn't sure it'd be sturdy enough to hold the shape once the batter was in but it did.I made a conscious decision not to bread or oil it before use as I wanted to see if the cake came out without any issues and it only left a little bit inside of it (nothing to write home about, in all honesty) but it didn't ruin the cake, so I'm happy.
