High percentage of failed units but fixable.
Three of four ordered did not work. 47 to 96 kB resistor between pin 6 and VCC takes 7297 out of mute mode. Works great when fixed.

Don't get unless you're looking for that "dying frog on transistor radio" effect
First one out of the box was bad. channels were both put on the left channel. nothing would come out of the right. so I tried the 2nd one in the box. it was fine.. for about 15 minutes and then sounded real bad like a frog with a sore throat and just horrible sound quality. so I start a return. the 2 new boards, I assume are from a different lot as the pcbs were a slightly different shade of green, both worked on both channels but sounded like a frog coming through a transistor radio. these sound like crap. do not get.I plugged my speakers into a different amp and they were fine. tried the amp on a 12v 10a psu, not a problem with the psu. tried a new 3.5 audio cable. no luck. bad ampThe video doesn't do it full justice. this is one of the replacements.

not bad at all
at first the sound quality wasn't very good. then i noticed the heat heat sink was hotter than i thought it should be. i had built inside a small box with no ventilation so i opened up be side of the box and added as much ventilation as i could. the sound got better just as long as i didn't go wide open. i also improved on the acoustics of the cabinet and now it's all within an acceptable range. for a cheap amplifier it does a good job. it's worth the price and then some. very easy to set up and have running.

Nice items, when they work (and they don't always)
I received two amplifiers. First, they are not identical: One has a power supply socket on it, the other one doesn't. Instead, it has screw terminals. One of the amps was soldered by someone very careless. Several of the connections were faulty. A capacitor was soldered at some distance from the board, so when it was shipped it tore the lines from the PCB. I had to throw this board away.Other than that, good product.
