Being a nasty unpleasant old man, all I have left to enjoy is good coffee, and this is the best! It fills the aching void in my soul while I await the final sleep in my empty palatial manse. It is somewhat expensive, but having never married and maintaining a solitary existence, that really is of little matter in the final analysis. It’s really worth it! Cup after cup warms my gnarled and increasingly colder hands as the days drag by in a meaningless drone towards the end of existence, an end I and my flavorful & richly aromatic Illy coffee await on a daily basis! If it weren’t for my illy espresso capsules greeting me in the gray morning despair, I would have no reason to live at all! Sartre may have been right about the meaningless nature of modern life, but I bet he would have adopted more of a Malthusian perspective if he had known of this coffee!

I like the intenso if I need an energy boost and Classico to start the day.

Is there more than one basic Classico iperEspresso? The one I have purchased directly from Illy, and enjoyed more than enough to reorder, is less acidic and smoother than the undrinkable Classico I received from Amazon. But for some reason, I cannot even return the unopened container, let alone the one I opened and sampled. This is absolutely not the same as the Classico iperEspresso I ran out of about two months ago. This Classico is useless to me, a total waste. I have neither the vocabulary nor knowledge of coffee production to describe how it differs from the Classico I purchased from Illy, but I can say I cannot drink it, yet I cannot return it. Why not??

They finally arrived with LIDS!! Seems like something that should be the norm, but 3x my cans have arrived without lids. Which is why the can on the right has foil... I’ll probably keep an extra lid for the future. You never know.

I wasn't a coffee drinker UNTIL I tasted Illy coffee. I bought the Cuisinart for Illy machine (purchased online from Bed, Bath & Beyond so I could use my 20% off coupon!) using the iperespresso pods. I've gone from the decaf pods to the 100% Arabica coffee on a daily basis. This coffee IS da bomb! Five plus stars from me ... and anyone I've shared a cup of coffee with as well from home!

Two a day every morning and who needs Starbucks!
