Q: can you reverse polarity and be able to pump in either direction?

It pumps good and is kinda loud and I’ve never hooked it up backwards to see if it would reverse the motor and pump that way. I would think it would but can not tell you it would.

Q: What is the maximum operating pressure? I want to use this for an engine oil priming pump.

When I tried to use it as a dedicated remote turbo oiling pump, the pressure instantly blew massive quantities of oil past the turbo's seals. Deadheaded my 100psi gauge was beyond maxed out.

Q: Can it be mounted vertically on a wall?

I think it could. But you have to figure out how to prime the system
