Upset I didn’t buy this earlier
I barely write reviews, but I’m just so pleased with this that I feel obligated to. I got this for my dad as a father’s day present and it is absolutely amazing. It is super fairly priced, very small and portable, made with nice materials, and works great. It is intuitive to use and has no unnecessary clutter. It came with all the cables you could need to plug it into an iPhone, Android, or PC or Mac, as well as an adapter to plug in headphones. It worked right away and truly improved the sound. I wish there was a way to have more than one custom preset, but honestly I probably wouldn’t use that feature anyways. Cannot recommend this enough. I plan on buying one for myself next.

Good sound, Well made
Seems like a nice little dac. Build quality is good, the screen is clear and the eq settings work well. The only thing I would change is including some little rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. This is an easy fix though and you can get stick on feet and do it yourself. I took away one star because the volume control is a tad janky. It works just fine, but it has a decidedly no premium feel and takes quite a few turns to adjust the volume up or down.

Not good Not bad
So I got this because i wanted to play with the Donner em11 and it vanished off the market, this looked to be the same components in a different box under Donner's subsidiary Moukey. It's not bad, It's not amazing either. I hope Donner/Moukey try again with improvements at the same price point. I def wouldn't pay full price for this. At full price this thing competes against better dacs that don't create white noise or have similar shortcomings. I really wish it just did things a little better. The good:1.On the fly EQ.2.Sounds ok3.Looks appealing.4.96K/24Bit. (normal spotify is less than this.)5.Mobile? (My phone couldn't power it)The bad:1.Front headphone jack introduces white noise with earbuds and IEM's. I had to buy a RCA to 3.5mm adapter and use the rear RCA out to reduce this. (rear RCA provides less power then front jack). With 60 ohm open back headphones the noise wasn't audible from the front jack. If you have 120 ohm or over the rear RCA will likely have headroom issues.2. One custom preset, if you have multiple different headsets that need some EQ love I hope you have EQ software for USB. It would also be nice if there was just a flat EQ preset.3. The EQ is limited to 5 band which is half of the standard 10 band.4. Since it's only input is USB you have to find decent software to EQ with presets to overcome this things inability.5.Not a lot of output powerEdit: I would suggest the Reiyin DA-Super DAC over this. It's more functional and cheaper.

Excels in every way
Device works great, no setup or any headache, it is now part of my permanent setup on my MBP home studio. External sound system is permanently connected to it, as well as the headphones when needed. Hi res lossless sound in Apple Music really shines now, difference between listening thru this device as opposed to default sound output is stunning.

Decent for the price
This is a great little dac in terms of design, the oled screen sets it apart from most others and it is very nice having a VU meter that plays to the music you are listening to, very visually appealing. some things to note, the volume wheel is absolute crap and some times takes 2-3 clicked rotations to get a response out of the unit. there is only 1 custom preset you can adjust and would be nice if there were 2 or 3 custom presets available to save on the unit a swing and a miss here. There is a slight hiss/static on my unit, I've tried changing out the cables on my IEM's and the usb cable that came with the unit, it still produces the same hiss. The static/hiss is not notable at all when playing music and not notable at all on a pair of headphones. this unit absolutely does not have enough power to listen with a high impedance pair of cans, tested with 150ohm pair of HD 58x's you have to max the volume to 90-100% and it still doesn't seem like even remotely close to enough power to get a decent volume out of them. Overall I bought this specifically for a pair of IEM's and it seems to do well for what its designed for. The price is right and the feature set is there, if you can live with the caveats this is a very nice little unit.Edit: I actually ended up returning this due to issues with the OLED screen freezing. the unit still worked fine but the screen became unresponsive. Not sure if I received a defective unit but I ended up switching out to a GSX300 instead.

Static when connected to USB
I was initially excited about this product, but was very disappointed after I connected it to my computer. When the USB C cable was hooked up there was a very loud static .

Does the trick
My old DAC that I had for several years finally gave out. So I went looking and came up with this Moukey amp/DAC. For something inexpensive it does the trick, doesn't sound bad, and powers my AKGs just fine. Only grip I have is my old DAC allowed be to choose between headphones and speakers. This one I can't figure out if it allows that or not. Currently it plays through the headphones and speakers(monitors) at the same time. So I have to turn the speakers off. Something minor that others may be ok with, but for me its something that bugs me. Since I wasn't able to find something that would allow me to change outputs and not pay a fortune for. I decided why not. Does the trick if your not doing studio work and just need a DAC for your computer to power headphones while gaming or listening to music while doing stuff on the computer.
