Love it!
Finally, a closed trashcan for a bathroom. I love the way it opens easily and then closes immediately. The sealing and refilling of the bags is perfection.

Excellent garbage can works great 1 year after purchase.
My second Townew garbage can and I have had zero issues after 1 year of consistent use. Love how it can hold more than it appears, which works great in my kitchen that has no room for any garbage bin whatsoever. Love the feature with the refill rings and how they are extremely efficient as well as environmentally friendly. The best product of its class. One question I do have, where can I find a replacement for the plastic ring that goes over the replacement garbage bag rings, I accidentally threw mine out the other day, but can't find this part to purchase without having to buy a whole new garbage bin, where can I buy a replacement cover ring?Thank you so much for such a high quality product and I look forward to using the new T Air Lite in my newly renovated bathroom!

Everyone is a dud.
I wanted to like this but after trying and returning several units I am giving up. Each unit had the same problems. The biggest problem with the slim can is that it keeps opening and closing when there is nobody in the room. Scared the !@$*^ out of me. Second problem, you should be able to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor. They advertise this to be perfect for the bathroom. If you keep it close to the toilet, it will always be opening and closing. I keep mine close to the sink and when shaving it just opens and closes and opens and closes. I read online that you can try covering the sensor with layers of clear tape but that did not work well and dirt and dust just collect on the edges of the tape. It is also loud. It sounds like it is on its last leg every time the door opens and closes and when you run the cycle to change the bag you can hear its screams asking you to stop using it.

Love our trashcan
We bought it for the bathroom and that's where it's been living since it arrived. Love it. Very easy to use and change the bags that are self-sealing and how quick it all happens. Definitely would buy a huge one for the kitchen when they make one. To anyone saying they don't sell refills for the bags... They absolutely do. They're not expensive to replace either. Love the motion sensor on it that opens the lid even in the dark. Bought a second one for Grandma's bathroom too and she loves it. Highly recommend though they are a little expensive.

Great concept but too many little annoyances
I really wanted to like this since my least favorite trash to take out is bathroom trash. I'm generally a fan of clever home devices that make mundane tasks easier. Here are my 2 biggest gripes with this product:- Trash can capacity: From a pure physical perspective, this trash can does indeed fit the normal advertised volume. However, I found that the mechanism that heat seals each plastic bag frequently got stuck by tiny bits of trash poking above the line (discarded tissues, paper towels, etc.) which would result in an incomplete seal. Not only is this frustrating on its own, but I ended up needing to manually cut the ends of some bags to ensure the mechanism wouldn't detect a blockage. Maybe heavier waste like food scraps would weigh down the trash enough to always prevent this issue, but for bathroom trash that comprises of lots of tissues that can contract/expand, I found the overall capacity to be quite small for the electronic capabilities of this device. This would happen almost every time I took out the trash and basically turned what was supposed to be a convenience into an even bigger hassle than the manual alternative.- Battery life: I personally don't have a conveniently placed outlet for this can to charge so I found myself transporting the can back and forth from my bathroom to a different room, just to charge. This is obviously to be expected for an electronic device like this, but at full charge the can would last for maybe 2 weeks before needing more hours of charging.TL;DR, after owning this thing for over a year, I realized that the convenience benefits were outweighed by these little annoyances. I'm still interested in the concept of a self-bagging trash can so maybe I'll opt for a slightly pricier version next time. One positive I'll mention is the motion control is able to be turned on/off in case you didn't want every little motion trigger the lid to open (the sensor is quite sensitive).
