Before buying the Mederma PM Intensive Overnight Scar Cream, I read a lot of positive reviews online and had high hopes for it. I purchased it here in the UAE, thinking it would help significantly with my scars caused by a hot wax burn under my arm. Unfortunately, after using an entire tube consistently, I haven't seen the “magical” results that so many people seemed to mention. I followed the instructions carefully and applied it every night before sleeping, as recommended. The cream itself is easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which I appreciated. However, in terms of actual scar improvement, I have not seen major changes. The scars are still very visible, and while there might be a slight softening of the skin texture, it’s definitely not the dramatic healing I was expecting. I’m currently using my second tube because I want to give it a full, fair chance — knowing that scar treatments often take time — but based on my experience so far, I would say results are slow and minimal. Maybe it works better for newer or less severe scars, but for a burn injury like mine, it hasn’t performed as promised. Overall, it’s a decent product in terms of texture and ease of use, but for me personally, it didn’t live up to the hype. it's expensive for this size

Coming from a non-paid, real review - buy it. This stuff has made a night & day difference in the progress of my scar, which is quite hefty (think high-speed road rash that deleted a good portion of my knee). I wish I would have started it a little sooner, when the scar was maybe 3 months old and the healing-type of scab was gone. I started it at 7 months instead, but I still noticed a difference in the first couple days of using it at night. During the day I put lotion, neosporin, and silicone gel on it, but at night its all Mederma PM. I can truly tell it is helping to soften the skin, and I have high hopes it'll help minimize the scar as it continues to heal. Worth it.

He usado otra versión, el gel, me dió varicela a los 29 años y fue un drama. Me ayudó muchísimo, o sea no desaparece las cicatrices pero reduce su tamaño y coloración. También suelo tener problemas en la piel (brotes severos de acné, eritemas y exantemas diversos) y se quitan solos en algunos meses pero el mederma me ayuda a acelerar sus secuelas. Mi opinión es hacia el producto en sí, la textura de crema es con lo que decidí experimentar, pero hasta ahora me gusta. Creo vale la pena darle la oportunidad.
