I bought this for my husband when he rolled his ankle and hated the using other braces. This fit him perfectly and provided the support he needed.

I broke my ankle and tore several ligaments. I've had a long rehab. I have tried several braces. This is the one I use most. It allows up and down motion of your foot but gives side-to-side stability. I am able to walk and drive but feel secure against twists on uneven ground. You should be aware that the brace does add bulk around the ankle. Most of my shoes don't fit. You'll need shoes that are wider around the ankle. Lace up shoes or boots would be best.This brace works better and is more comfortable than much more expensive braces. Good value!

I never thought I'd ever have weak ankles but in the last few years, I've rolled my ankles a lot. It's even more painful than a break-I know because I've had a broken ankle. So, when I'm doing a lot of walking, I use these. I have two because I've rolled both ankles. You don't have to worry about getting a left or right side as these braces are convertible which is what I have done. I have other braces but these are by far one ones I prefer. They fit in whatever shoe I'm wearing. I advise cleaning them every so often so that the inner padding keeps its grip (I wear them without socks-they are comfortable enough to be able to do that and not rub.) I won't advise as to what to use because I use alcohol and don't know how it will affect them long term.

Way smaller than advertised, unnecessarily complicated and obnoxious fastening system, and offers no support to the front of the ankle. Go for the Aircast brace over this.

Wife has advanced Parkinson.Left knee removed about 50 yrs ago because of TB ... lots of other health issues over the years.She NOW cannot walk, talk, feed herself ... yada.Wheelchair her to bathroom ... but standing her up ... BOTH ankles start to collapse (turn inwards).This Ankle Support Brace really helps to keep her ankles semi-"locked" into "normal" position.Works so well that THIS TIME I actually filled out one of these numerous review forms. :-)
