I'm editing my review and changing the rating to 5 stars. As some buyers have said, it seems as if every now and then you can get a "loose" cutter. Still cuts, but not quite as precisely. The one I purchased was a loose one. I contacted customer service... they made it right (and actually, I feel they went ABOVE and BEYOND). They contacted me and we had dialogue all throughout the process to get a new one. I wish I could give MORE than 5 stars to customer service. Now for the product --- Incredible value for the money. (The new, non-loose cutter I received) is great! Sturdy, great finish, smooth, and sharp. Can't believe it's not pricier.... I say GO FOR IT!

I haven't needed to delve into expensive cutters because this one is killing it. Hasn't crushed the head on a cut yet. Great product.

This cutter is very attractive but one of the handles broke before the third use. I managed to use gorilla glue to reattach it. Now it functions satisfactorily.

Prior to purchasing this I used a traditional budget priced cutter. I would struggle to get a clean cut on my cigars. This cutter is razor sharp and very easy to use. The bronze color looks great as well. Pro tip: place the cutter on a counter and place your cigar in it to get the perfect length cut.

I was super excited to get this cutter and saw the volume of positive reviews combined with a very attractive price and thought I scored a home run.Cutter arrived and excitement quickly turned to disappointment. At first glance it was clearly that the quality was missing. I went with the bronze finish and it was missing in sections of the body. Looking at the finish, it looks sprayed on and certainly something that wont last long term. Blade play was very loose and sloppy. I knew better, but decided to give it a shot. It of course, mangled the end of the cigar. On a double guillotine cutter like this, having any space between the blades is not only going to make a terrible cut, but you will also be taking a lot more material than you mean to. Top it off with blades that are rather dull to start with, and there is 0 chance for a good cut. Looking back at other reviews, I am not seeing many others complaining of the same thing. So buying these turns into a lottery of IF you get a good one, it might be ok....what does that say about this quality control practices.Frankly, this was a lot worse than any of the cheap plastic ones you can find or that are given away.

The media could not be loaded. The cutter arrived in a nice carrying bag, the cutter does have a little weight to it, it appears to be well made, way better than my first plastic cutter I’ve been using for the past year. My only issue is that it arrived with some blemishes on the edges, but for the price I’m gonna keep it and not go through the hassle of returning the item.

I have used this cutter for well over a year and still get a good cut.
