Plastic Pot for Orchids 4 1/2 inch Diameter - Quantity 5

These are nice strong plastic pots. I had such a hard time finding this exact size and height. Most orchid pots of this size are an inch or more shorter. I had to make some holes in the sides because my orchids need more air to their roots. I used a hot-melt glue gun to burn the holes. The old fashioned glue guns that get dangerously hot.

Works well in my greenhouse. I really like the aircone on the bottom of the pot.

Teku pots are some of the best orchid pots I have ever found. The crystal cleat plastic is perfect for keeping an eye on the roots, moisture amount, and any problems (fungus, snails, etc.) before they get out of hand. The pot itself is stiff and not floppy and it has a rim which makes it easier to lift out of its decorative pot or to hang. The wide drainage holes and raised center ensure the roots do not sit in water and rot. The entire pot is also raised up so that any left over draining doesn't collect and keep the bottom portion constantly moist. The only thing missing is extra ventilation slits or holes along the sides like in other orchid pot brands, but these are easily added with a soldering tool. And they are unfortunately on the pricey side. But I still absolutely recommend these pots.

Not super sturdy if that’s what you’re looking for - but otherwise it gets the job done, and the transparency helps to keep an eye on the dirt and roots!

I had expected the pots to be more transparent/clear as per the images, but it is more opaque.I removed 1 star since it is not clear as per description.

Great pot and great drainage but more opaque than clear so that was a little deceiving. Other than that the product is great
