Royal Cove 2477857 3-Speed Oscillating Table Fan, 16"

Great price. Fan appears to be decent quality. Pivot and swing motion function well. Time will tell if it lasts but there are no signs of failure now. And since it is low priced it doesn't have to last many years to pay for itself.Downside is the fan is very noisy. This is common with low priced 3 blade fans. If sound levels are important to you then look for 5 blade fans. I swapped blades from an old 5 blade fan into another low priced 3 blade fan and now that fan is fairly quiet. The design of the blades makes a difference too. I put a different three blade fan into this unit and it made a noticeable difference. I do not see how you could find a difference in blade styles by just looking at the ad pictures though. The quieter three blade fan has less material on the trailing edge of the blades.

I ordered this 16" fan for the top of my refrigerator to replace a broken one of a different brand. I wanted one that had the controls in the front so that I could simply reach up and turn it on easily. In that respect it is excellent and I have been very happy with it in every way. It is quieter than my previous fan, works well, and is easy to operate. I did discover that 16" was bigger than I needed for the top of a refrigerator in my sized kitchen so I would buy the next size down if I had it to do over again.

Great fan. 16" fan blade makes it bigger than most which are 12". It's super easy to put together.It's all made of cheap Chinese plastic, The "cage" around the fan blade is metal. Since all it's going to do is sit there I'm O.K. with the cheap factor. It doesn't look cheap. It's also very quiet.It has 1 -4 button panel Off,High,Medium and Low. Mine is turned on low all day,all night,all week,all month. My last fan ran continuously for 9 years after I initially turned it on. It was an American -made product. Hopefully this Chinese one will last at least a year. Very happy with this purchase, I bought 2.

It stopped working after 15 minutes out of the box brand new - wouldn't replace it until they receive this one backBEWARE there is a fuse in the plug that was not mentioned. Very disappointed! Box came smashed.UPDATE - customer service contacted me after my email & is sending out a new fan not sure if I have to send backthe defective one & smashed box yet - thank you - hopefully this one works

We’ve had this about a month and a half and we use it a lot. Works well except it recently started making a click sound when changing directions while oscillating. Annoying but we can live with it. But for this reason I’m not sure I would buy it again.

The base is very light weight so it tends to "travel" a little with the slight vibration of the fan. Other than that the fan was easy to put together and runs very quiet.

A nice, quiet fan. It's been on every day during this long, hot summer. It's a great help when the temperatures are heating up, but you want to wait before turning on air conditioning to save on the electric bill. It has been a comfort having cool air at night. It was very easy to assemble.

Love this fan. I like that it has a metal blade cage and it's not that loud when running. One thing I noticed is that they engineered the plastic base and pedestal with very tight tolerances. I had to watch how the pedestal's loose plastic came down into the base so as not to get it caught when pushing it into the base.
