My bunnies have always had sinus issues and sneeze a lot, so dust in hay is a big deal for us. Oxbow’s Orchard Grass Hay works really well because it’s softer and has fewer thick stems and seed heads than timothy hay. That means it doesn’t kick up as much dust, which helps keep their noses from getting irritated. Timothy hay is a bit rougher with more stems and seed heads, and that can make more dust when they eat it. For bunnies with sensitive sinuses, orchard grass is just easier on them. They like the taste too—it’s sweeter and not as strong-smelling. I still give them timothy hay sometimes for variety and because it’s good for their teeth, but orchard grass is the one I reach for when they’ve been sneezing or having sniffles. Both hays are fresh and good quality, and I’ve trusted Oxbow for years. The 15 oz bag lasts a while, which makes it a good deal. If your bunny has sinus troubles, I’d definitely recommend trying orchard grass hay.

I have 6 mice, three of which are fancy mice, two are "house mice" and one is a deer mouse. My fancy mice seem to really enjoy it, two of them actively eat this and they get really excited when I give them fresh hay. My boy Pudding does what I call "the hay twitches", as well as popcorning around and it's so cute! I didn't expect my youngest two to enjoy it as much as they do but they eat it every time I give it to them. My other mice for the most part seem to ignore the hay or line their nests with it, or use it to make their tunnels sturdier. I'm happy as long as they use it in some way, whether they eat it or not. I love how this smells, it's so sweet and fresh that it makes ME want to eat it. I bought one of the packs of "extra large ziploc' bag packs, kind of like the ones for towels and laundry, and just shoved the whole bag of hay in there to keep it fresh. The zipper for this thing does suck to be honest, and if there's more than 3/4 left in the bag, picking it up by the built in handle hole will make the zipper open up 9/10 times. The amount I have will last me a long time with how small my mice are, but I will happily buy it again when I someday burn through it!

My bunny absolutely loves this hay! It is a good size bag and good value for the money. I bought it about a month & 1/2 ago and I’m not even half way through the bag.

Only hay I buy for my piggy!! Usually fresh and good quality! Good for people with Timothy hay allergies. Purchase this at least twice a month!

It is always frest but it says grass hay so it should be a mix of that. I hate when they only send grass because my rabbit doesnt eat it and it is messy. 2 out of 4 bags come like this. So im looking to switch. They love the hay and it is perfect but they dont give you an option. I like thzt it isnt dusty also

the cut and quality could have been better. more "trash scraps" tiny broken, dry, in the mix than other brands. Besides that my fur-baby LOVED this hay! It has a slight pleasant aroma. Its very soft and somewhat finer than timothy hay. It worked great mixed in with standard timothy. It wasn't suitable as a "stand alone" for bedding/snacking/waste absorption. It got soaked and matted down rather quickly. So through my trial and error with this variety I am very satisfied. For our use as an addition/filler to standard timothy its great. Baby loved it,really really loved it! Shes happy im very happy. If you bunny ppl have any other hay varieties that worked well for your family please share whith us! we are a few months in, and so far its been heaven. We thing we are so lucky to have such a sweetheart affectionate lil bunny baby! We are soaking up all tips we can to keep her happy and playful! Is it just us or are all bunnies this sweet and so eager to learn tricks? We think shes so smart but As we learn more about them we are blown away. Ho provato diversi tipi di fieno negli ultimi anni, ma questo è diventato subito il preferito dei miei conigli. Si presenta verde, profumato e ben tagliato, senza polvere e senza residui strani, segno di un prodotto di qualità. Appena lo metto nella fieniera, i miei conigli si fiondano: lo mangiano con gusto e ci si rotolano anche dentro, segno che lo trovano comodo e invitante. Anche dal punto di vista nutrizionale, è perfetto per tenere sotto controllo la loro digestione e l’usura naturale dei denti. L’ho trovato molto più fresco e consistente rispetto ad altri fieni confezionati, e non ha quel classico odore di “secco e vecchio” che spesso scoraggia i conigli.

I've been using Oxbow products for nearly 20 years. I have 5 house rabbits and a guinea pig and it's very important to me that they eat top quality food and hay and products that do them good. Hay is a vital part of rabbits and guinea pigs diets. Rabbits are supposed to eat their size in hay per day and a hay based diet supplemented with fresh vegetables and a good pellet food is a natural and healthy diet. Rabbits teeth are constantly growing and hay is a good way for rabbits to gently wear their teeth down. Most cheap shop bought hays are very poor quality and suitable only for bedding. Oxbow offers a variety of hays, each different. The Orchard Grass hay is generally a softer hay than the others. Depending on which cut it is, this hay can be very soft to a slightly harder hay. Bunnies with dental issues often struggle to eat hay, but this softer hay means that most of my dental buns have enjoyed it. It smells delicious and for me that is a sign of a good quality hay. I wouldn't feed my animals hay that had no smell - it's a bit like strawberries. Strawberries that smell yummy taste much nicer than those with no fragrance. In all the years I've had bunnies and guinea pigs, Orchard Grass has always been a favourite.

Yo es la segunda vez que lo compro, tengo una coneja bebé y especialmente con esta marca lo devora, le encanta, aparte compré otro heno que me aconsejó la veterinaria para que no tuviera diente de león, por lo visto algunos henos lo traen, este heno huele genial y como digo lo devora en cuanto se lo pongo y eso que tiene solamente dos meses y medio mi coneja, mientras que haya comentarios tan buenos como los hay yo seguiré comprándolo y más viendo que mi coneja se tira a por él de lo que le gusta.
