came promptly. This product is durable as well as double-sided, meaning you can switch from black to white as far as the measurements on the mat are concerned. I thought the purple color was very pretty. As an added, unexpected bonus, sometimes I put my laptop computer on top of it and the section of the mat left over functions as a great mouse pad for my mouse! The measurements are very useful for the kind of crafts I do. Sometimes my rotary cutter will scratch it a little bit, but I'm terrible at using a rotary cutter right now so that might be why. Is self-healing just as advertised- can take a rotary cutter blade. highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  Call me frugal, but I am always looking for a good deal. My wife loves to do her own poster and learning boards for my 2 little guys. However, she made little scratches in our table while cutting out some letters. Instead of getting upset at wifey, I decided to solve the problem. I went on amazon and found KC Global. They had a pretty nice variety of different sizes to choose from. As mentioned before, I am frugal. I think I paid $5.99 for the small one.Pros: Very durable. It would take an ax to cut through this material. The $6 dollar cutting mat heals itself (I had to see for myself) and yes, the light cuts did slowly close almost to a point where I couldn't see them. All the different designs and measurements on the board. My wife loves me a little more because she thinks I bought it for her, but I really bought it for our table.Cons: Not many. Now that she has used it a couple of times, I am wishing I wasn't such a cheap-o and bought a bigger one.Overall: Excellent product ant a great price.

Unlike other mats, this one has grid lines the full 36"x24". Lines and numbers are black, very clear and easy to see with the 1/2" lines dotted so they are easy to tell them apart from the 1" lines. I am making covid masks and got tired of moving my fabric around trying to see the number marks on my 24"x18" mat that is actually only 22"x16". I was concerned that the mat is thinner than others but have not seen a difference. The mat does not slide on my oak dining room table and I love the fact that the other side has blue grid lines also. Cuts good on all fabrics that I've used except T-shirt material that I was cutting for the mask ties. Some microfibers came off and stuck in the lines on the mat. I contacted the company and they quickly gave me 2 suggestions of using packaging tape to lift off the lines or lightly scrubbing with detergent & water. The packaging tape worked great.

Been using this cutting mat for my daily sewing, for two months already. Self healing works well as you can barely see any cutting lines on it. Love how it comes with grid lines on both sides of mat. Thickness is thinner, which makes my quilting table much more organized. I will recommend for all crafters!PRO:-great price and great value-gorgeous color made my sewing space more lovely-it seems to sustain damages from sharp blades scissors and needles really well-it is definitely a great sewing companion and I might just get another for my nephew's crafting tableCON:-can't think of any right now, but I do wish if they had more color to pick from

I've been using the KC Global 18x24 mat to cut fabric for quilting for the past two weeks. So far it doesn't look like I've ever used it so I think it will last quite a while. I love that it has an extra 1/2 inch on each side so that you can cut a full 24 inches and not run off the mat. Love the purple color...markings are very easy to see. No odor. This seems to be a high quality product....very pleased!
