Colors are amazing - Quality is solid, silks can take some dialing in of settings
I love Amolen’s colors, especially the Azure blue. Their gradients look fantastic on prints and add amazing dimension soon without post processing. You do need to make sure you dial in your print settings and play with supports depending on the model, but most silks need this attention. Once your settings are solid, the prints turn out gorgeous.

A non budget brand premium filiment and boy does it show!! Its amazing!!
This is a Brand Name Premium filament and it absolutely shows. It's not some junk stuff like elegoo or sunlu. It prints amazing in silk grey and silk gold which is a lighter gold not thst ornage gold. The spools were so beautifully rolled to assume no tangles. The flow is amazingly smooth and the shine is phenomenal. HIGHLY recommend with good silk settings and a decent printer. Its almost a perfect match to beaker and similar to bambu labs titan grey silk. If ur like me and use name brand stuff and habe zero issues cause you have a good printer you will love this brand.

A Filament that Delivers on Aesthetics and Quality
Pros: 1. Silk Shiny Finish: The silk shiny finish of this AMOLEN PLA filament adds a touch of elegance to your 3D prints, elevating their overall appearance. The shine is consistent and lends a premium feel to the objects. 2. Gradient Color: The gradient transition from red to gold is smooth and visually pleasing. The color variation adds a level of complexity and beauty to prints, making them more engaging and dynamic. 3. Ease of Use: The filament has proven to be highly compatible with various 3D printers and extrudes smoothly without any issues of clogging or stringing, even at different speeds and temperatures. 4. Eco-Friendly: Being PLA, it's a more environmentally responsible choice compared to other plastics. It's biodegradable and non-toxic, which is a big plus. 5. Quality Spool Design: The spool is thoughtfully designed with a gauge that indicates the amount of filament remaining, taking the guesswork out of long print projects. 6. Cost-Effective: For the level of quality you receive, the price point is excellent. It's a great value for both hobbyists and professionals alike. Cons: 1. Sensitivity to Settings: The silk shiny finish can be compromised if the temperature or speed settings are not precisely dialed in. So, it might require a test print or two to get everything just right. 2. Inconsistent Diameter: While largely consistent, there were a few minor fluctuations in the diameter of the filament throughout the spool. It didn't impact my print quality but might be an issue for highly detailed prints. 3. Limited Color Choices: As of my last purchase, the gradient options were limited. While the red to gold is stunning, more variety could attract a wider audience. In my opinion, the AMOLEN PLA 3D Printer Filament offers a lot in terms of aesthetic appeal and reliability. The silk shiny finish and gradient color are real game-changers for those who are keen on adding an artistic touch to their 3D prints. While it may require some fine-tuning with the printer settings, the end result is absolutely worth it. Given the relatively minor cons, I would highly recommend this filament to anyone looking for both beauty and quality in their 3D printing projects.

Some kind of gunk mixed in the filament
This is the first time I've purchased Amolen filament. I've bought hundreds of rolls of other brand filaments and I've never seen anything like this. Didn't see this on the surface until it had been printing for a little while and the printer paused because of a SEVERE tangle. That's when I saw this gunky stuff mixed all inside the filament. It’s such a shame because the colors are very nice and I was really looking forward to trying Amolen filaments. I am returning to Amazon for a replacement. I'm hoping that it was just a fluke, otherwise, I will never purchase Amolen again. I'll update my review when I receive the new filament. UPDATE: Amazon sent a replacement roll of the filament. It printed perfectly and the colors are amazing! I’m so happy with it. Amolen reached out to me and are giving me a full refund for the original roll. I can’t wait to try other Amolen filaments!

Pretty Garbage - Pun Intended
I really wanted to like this filament, it looks really nice but the layer adhesion and strength of the final product is terrible. I tried various settings and was unable to get smaller more intricate prints to hold up, they would print fine and look great but fall part if you look at them wrong, good luck getting them off the print bed in one piece. I literally used over half a roll of filament testing various settings and nothing worked. I got to the point I reached out to Amolen for support, to which they replied to increase the wall thickness, hmm go figure thicker wall = stronger part right....nope. I tried going as high as 80% infill with 2-3 wall thickness and still yielded the same result. Finally returned the roll for another one thinking I must have a bad roll seeing all the good reviews. In hindsight I see similar reviews mentioning brittle prints. It seems if you are printing anything with area's less than a ~1/4 inch thick they will likely break at these points, even the 2nd replacement roll I received had the same problem right out of the bag. Thicker prints come out fine and look great. So if you are looking to print some nice looking thicker bulky items this is going to work good for you, if you plan to print thinner more intricate parts look for another brand. Update: I will also add that this filament also does not do well with overhangs at all, I print a round egg with several other filaments and they all come out with very minor flaws where the overhang is starting on the base of the sphere, however this filament by far comes out the worst. I would say hands down this is one of the best looking but worst performing filaments I have in my collection of 25+ filaments many of which are silk. It can work well and look great in certain situations or with certain models but I would expect to be limited on what you can produce with this filament.

Finicky, but looks nice once you mange to print it.
This filament gave me so many headaches I went as far as generating a return form. It seems to be composed of 2 different types of PLA or is a PLA+ with some other type of plastic with a different melting point in it. The 2nd component was just turning into bubblegum (all the way up to 210C), clogging my hot end, pulling the print off the build surface (because it wouldn't detach when retracted), and just putting down the worst first layer I've ever had. It also left that gunk all through the bowden tube when I gave up on the filament. Took about 3-4' of printing my standard PLA to work all the residue out of my printer and I had to go up to 220C (usually print that filament at 190) to get it to finally melt out the rest of this filament. So, since I had hit on the magic temperature of 220C to clear my hotend of the residue I gave this filament one last chance, with hairspray as an added safety net of adhesion, and that seems to finally be the absolute minimum temperature that both components of this filament will melt and print. Lots of whispy strings still, but nothing a few minutes of work and a heat gun won't clean up. If it wasn't the perfect color for my print I don't think I'd bother, but it is perfect in color. So, yes it can print, and looks quite nice once it does, but be prepared for a lot of work to get the settings right for your printer.

Glow in the Dark !

Also mit Farbverlauf.
