Obviously, we don't know if this deters a theft, as we have not had our car stolen while using it. We thought it'd be worth using it if it would deter some amateur would-be thieves at least, but we don't know if most thieves find it difficult to get rid of these kinds of protections, or how easy it is for them to break / pull off the seatbelt attachment altogether to steal the car. However, in terms of quality, the product is top-notch, easy to use, and innovative. The key works well (you get 3 keys, which is great, since we are 2 drivers and we like to keep one at home just in case we lose our car keys). The only drawback is that the loop is a bit short, so you need to bring your seat closer to the steering wheel every time you want to put it on (at least for our KIA Forte 5 GT Limited 2023), which means you cannot put it on while sitting in the driver's seat.

Easy to use and so far no one has attempted to steal my cars. I have a couple of different safety measures when it comes to preventing anyone stealing any of my car collection. Not only do these give me added confidence that my car is secure when I am not there but they are great for whenever I take my cars out for a run and stop somewhere for lunch, as they are extremely visible from the outside and a great deterrent. Also great to stop people trying to sit in your convertible hot rod to get photos while you are not around. Yes people do actually think it is their right to sit in your car without asking or you even being there.GREAT PRODUCT
